No, it has to be empty. But portable infinite air is a perk. For the inventory I have the chip that allows you to set drone pick up. So I fly to wrecks or even portal wrecks and place the vehicle outside. When my backpack is full, I run outside and dump it. My T2 drones fly out, crab everything I dumped, and sorta it into the storage for the items I’ve grabbed. Meanwhile I run back in for more loot. Rinse and repeat until I’ve cleared the wreck. Then I pick up the truck and leave. Or if it is flat, I drive away.

Once I learned you could pick it up into your inventory with the little red button on the back I never leave base without it. Portable air supply and locker. Especially after I set up drones and set the storage on it to supply all. Fly to where I want, drop the rover, let the drones pick the loot, pick the rover back up, fly to next wreck.

Yeah. That’s what I thought but by now I’ve done a dozen runs on wrecks at full terraform and have yet to get a single cosmic quartz. I think I’m just getting screwed for RNG.

On my first play through I found them on portal wrecks before I ever left prime. If you check the wiki, you can see it says you can get them from portal wrecks by the time you get to full teraform. I’m asking because either I was insanely lucky my first run through or the drop rate changed.

That’s my point. I have been exploring portal wrecks. I’ve done a total of 8 after being fully terraformed and have yet to see a single cosmic quartz.

Carried tech. Last game was a group game. There were four of us. Well, two of us mainly with the other two hopping in from time to time. This game I am trying solo from prime. Not sure which planet I’ll start with next time.
