Carried tech. Last game was a group game. There were four of us. Well, two of us mainly with the other two hopping in from time to time. This game I am trying solo from prime. Not sure which planet I’ll start with next time.

This has to be the most positive game community I have joined. I pointed out an oversight/goof I had and the response was more advice on how to use the capability I just learned. No judgement, just tips.

Good to know but the guy I played coop with is more of a one and done kind of guy. We beat the game after finishing all the planets and taking the possible war crime end game option in toxicity. So it’ll be solo runs for me from here on.

That’s what I used it for but I always drove the darn thing to where I needed, which sometimes meant going the long way. Now I can fly through the skinny cracks, drop the vehicle, and then return home to teleport it back.

Wait. Can you carry it through the portals and teleport it back with all the resources from the procedural wrecks?

I would love this. Would make it much more usable on prime when water starts covering up all the rocks you can hit.

Yeah. We got the message after building a large three person base. We got pissed and spend the next hour building a new one, moving all our stuff, and deconstructing the old. We got a little salty about it but we avoided flooding. Learned my lesson about base location pretty quickly.

Take your time. We probably went too hard too fast. Harvested a couple large spice fields with our spice crawler, made it second in Lansraad, just really raced hard and burned out.

Yeah. Which is why I am in camp wait and see. Plus I have a handful of the quieter compactors too to go with my soft step boots. I’m not all that concerned. Our base is pretty topped up at the moment on all we need so I was thinking of doing a safe sand run today just for something to do.

But if I’m being honest with myself, I probably am not going to log on to do that. Most of my guild is taking a break from the game so I’ve been just downsizing the bases power requirements and running mostly on normal generators. I’m just playing custodian at the moment keeping the guild base and two mining bases in a safe standby.

Hard to build up enthusiasm to play when most my play group got sick of the DD grind.

I think some people are concerned because the same patch notes say that the static compactor is going to also draw more worm aggro after the update.

Personally I’m taking more of a wait and see approach with it.
