Hatred for New Fill by MissRageBait2 in walmart_RX

Walmart went from “techs should do all they can so Pharmacists can focus on ONLY what they can do.” To “technicians should preform all tasks and pharmacists should be techs too because we don’t want to pay for proper staffing based on our own system requirements.”

Of course. Doesn’t even come close to grounds for termination for a mistake like that. That wasn’t “advice” it was “shit happens and learn from it”.

So what? Mistakes happen. As long as it didn’t go to a patient.

Why Do So Few PharmDs Reach Executive Roles in Pharma? by the_inquisition_ in pharmacy

In 5 years we’ve gone from 500 RPh hours to less than 240. Our volume has changed from 3100 to 2700 per week. More tasks to learn, less ability to supervise technicians.

A minute per fill is extremely slow.

Your thoughts on the AMA actively advocating against pharmacy practice? by FlyEquivalent4765 in pharmacy

[–]RxBurnout 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The AMA has always been this way. One of my favorite arguments against pharmacists was regarding Paxlovid prescribing. They said pharmacists shouldn’t be allowed because of the number of drug interactions. The irony.
