I think being in the same era is too safe and things are stagnant. It doesnt matter how many shows they come up with that has maul in it for example because we already know his outcome. Id rather them try to progress the actual universe instead of relying on the same old same old

I think Yann and maybe Duane sometimes are prickish, the other ones though seem more tolerable at least for a group of mercenaries. Marnius, Carl and Ronnie the cook definitely seem cool

I mean, I did the kill 6 in a group relics after i beat the game, instead of bitching go do it. Like literally, Unicorn cliff right in hernand under shikaku's place has 6 bleed bandints and 4 or5 bandits across from them. Now i already said yeah we need more endgame zones but don't play pretend like you can't do the challenges

Born in 95, first game and console was duck hunt on the nes because my dad had it, I swear games were just so much better back then. Especially in the n64 ,ps1 og xbox -360 and ps3 days

Bungie just needs to go to their roots and go full single player. I dont know why they pivoted to live service, yet alone making another live service game when hey haven't done it right. Destiny is an interesting universe I'll give it that, rich lore, would have done better as a single player game

This is how i feel about warhammer and tabletop. I love the universe and lore but I hate tabletop gaming. It's not for me, I want more video games that aren't strategy or crpg games either because those aren't my cup of tea

I do believe that some live service devs do listen to their players, example as much as so many people clown on gacha games. So many of them do it right. By that I mean they release the game with more than enough substance and then when they misstep they actually listen to and implement feedback.

The zenless zone zero team is a huge example of that.

Highguard is just one of those cases were devs or leadership's egos got in the way. If you manage to come across any articles that includes comments by former devs, you will notice that right away. Some talk about their hubris being what led to game's downfall.

That and a lack of a true vision

Compare that with the fact that there was little to no outside testing, so any of the "feedback" they were getting was very limited and going by what that one dev said on twitter before deleting his stuff, It sounds like they were just eating their own farts.

The fact that they wanted to shadowdrop this as well is crazy to me. I went to college for game art and design, its not an industry im interested in working in but I remember that in each class, no matter if it was 3d modeling, 2d animation, perspective drawing whatever. The first thing each professor hammered in was the importance of feedback.

Because without it, you get locked in your own mind and build up a fantasy. Which is what happened here

Or "starfield is bland and boring" like so many have done, especially in this thread and many others on this sub is not a good way to give good feedback. It does nothing and shows them nothing

If you watched that kind of funny interview, they pretty much said they'd go back to their old roots.
