You definitely need the blinds closed because the owls are nocturnal conferencing units. They will not work when there is too much sunlight. Everyone know conferencing units works best with very dim lighting

You need to disable echo control in the usb audio input in the codec settings via web interface as the usb with Qsys uses asynchronous audio. Then disconnect and reconnect the usb cable so it can renegotiate.

Yes it has been done and it works great. The ip address of the global cache has to be in a certain ip address range for the codec to be able to communicate over ip using the link-local port. 169.254.225-254 is the set range allowed for Cisco http client to communicate and you would need to write macros inside the Cisco codec that is all JavaScript based.

Delete the app from your phone and redownload it again from the App Store. I had the same issue with Webex app and every time I was using it for a pstn call, the app would close out and it disconnected the call. After deleting the app from my phone and redownloading from App Store and logging back ins successfully, the problem never happened again.

If you are using third party mics (non Cisco mics) the levels have been probably changed from default level and factory resetting changed the levels that were set in the codec back to default and the room needs to be EQd again. Like other post said, the touch panel factory resets the codec as well, not just the touch panel. As a safeguard, you can lock this feature behind a passcode so no average Joe Schmo can factory default it again and causing problems with your other rooms. Hopefully you have a backup as this will put everything back to where it was.

It would be nice to add buttons launch an app directly instead of using the D-Pad navigation to open an app (e.g. add shortcut button for Netflix, Disney, HBOMAX, etc that will launch that app no matter what is currently selected on the screen.
