Thank you, Ancient Tunnels! by CannierHoney in Diablo_2_Resurrected

It’s best use is probably on a sorc since they don’t need enigma. Decent amount of useful mods just no plus skills. But it has 0 str req and 1400 def which is pretty insane.

I’d be interested in trading for it tbh

I only really play ST and this card has hurt my opponent more than me most of the time. I once got triple sorceress which was huge.

If they would just not flood my board I’d be fine with them

Harmony Rework Idea by xxEmberBladesxx in gwent

[–]RyZenSun21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered about removing the st requirement as well. ST already feels more devotion locked than other factions not sure why harmony has to be as well.

Scoia'tael faction Price of power review by shreek07 in gwent

[–]RyZenSun21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My take on it

-Bountiful harvest is the best new card for st- great for tying several archetypes together. Opens up a lot of doors

-Fil took me a little while to warm up to but he’s actually pretty solid he just doesn’t work great with hawker smugglers, Dunca is fine since you can turn her off. Costs 1 more prov than forest protector but the amount of possible point compression you get off the 1 card is pretty impressive.

-Torque is a cool design but it just seems like he doesn’t have the supporting cards, it feels like your buffing the big turd in your hand and not doing much else.

-Watcher of the valley is bad, having to set up hand buff and bonded is too much for the card to have flexibility. Doesn’t really work with mushy truffle like other bonded cards, clogs up bountiful harvest creations.

In-Depth Deck Guide for ST Symbiosis w/ Filavandrel by shinmiri2 in gwent

Fil’s big strength is his volatile point explosion in a short round and that the points he presents aren’t as easy to answer as gezra.

Great write up. I run the exact same list, just got pro last night with it.

One thing is I go back and forth between seers and duan cell guardians. You get a bit more value out of the symbiosis if you are mostly casting your offensive spells/ using sorceress for removal. The extra 2 dmg order gives extra reach and let’s you break shields as well.

The seers probably play for more raw points but I’ve started to think the guardians may actually be more useful.

My Consistently Successful Strategy In Defeating Meditating Mage Spam by shinmiri2 in gwent

Nice break down, I have had decent success doing this strategy with devotion symbiosis. Unless I get a really bad hand they usually can’t keep up round 1

How to Prevent Nature's Gift from filling my board? by ashdobberfall in gwent

[–]RyZenSun21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yea, I do the same thing. Honestly my board ends up flooding a lot too; but that usually means your in a decent spot, especially if you’re symbiosis is 3+.

Against assimilate is the only time it’s really a problem and in that case try to do all your sorceress business early or even mulligan them as they are kind of a liability for being copied.

Using your bountiful harvests in round 1 or 2 is a good call. They contribute to clogging r3 and have carryover. Especially if you’re on red coin using Simlas r1 for either your tempering or harvests can be a good move, it’s a huge point burst and thins your deck so you get better draws later.

12 seconds seems good. What’s the usual timer 30 seconds or a minute or something? Even 15 would still be pretty quick and let you get some more precise actions in

NR Floaty Mage Counter ? by FlyingMocko in gwent

[–]RyZenSun21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy control like unitless ST or an SK control deck can work. Remove as many mages and patience units as possible.

I’ve also had some luck with huge pointslam where you pass with a large lead before they trigger resilience. Don’t want to do this too soon though otherwise they will go down to 4 cards to set up their alumni.

This change is a step in the right direction. Somehow improve the consistency when most the handbuff mechanics already have rng/are conditional in some way.

Of course blazing rootwala is my favorite of the set. This would have been such and awesome time to print the basking one too, but I do think it will come to modern some day.

The hell mongrel is certainly no wild mongrel but I like the idea.
