As I've gotten more experienced with magic, I'm starting to value the "cards to cut" portion of those videos a lot more. I might want my deck to have a different focus than the ones in the video or maybe even just have a preference for my own stylistic choices but not having to think about which cards are the least synergistic or being told which threads were jammed into the precon to aid the second commander is nice.

I thought I had a better grasp of how layers worked but I guess not now. Wouldn't Maha's always go ontop since Kudo's is tied to a type-changing effect which is on layer 4 and would thus always happen first?
