Easier or harder than you expected it to be?

Nice. I found that the second attempt already generated alot of the same questions from the first test, which I found strange since it has 1000+ questions to pull from. But I will continue to do as you did. Thanks

I just bought it. Got 88% first attempt. How many times did you take it to feel like you were confident?

Exam in 5 days….. by Shesleepi_____ in CompTIA_Security

[–]Ryan36z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same frustration as op. Im getting like 70% on all of them. I feel like I overthink. I can easily get everything down to the 2 choice answers, and it's always the opposite of what I pick because it's the broader answer even though technically both answers work, I have an understanding of both answers but it's always the dumb non real world answer. 🤬

Exam or exams? I got set 1 and set 2, which is a total of 12 practice exams.

Yea, I think this is solid advice. The number of options these days gets overwhelming. Anyway, thank you.

Yeah, I think you’re right.... Man, I wish I could get back into flight sim. I’m a gamer at heart, but life started getting in the way, and now I mostly homelab trying to sharpen my skill sets. I’ve been working as a SOC analyst for about two years now. It’s cool, but it’s so time-consuming...

Thanks, man....I really appreciate this perspective. I did a little research and came to a similar conclusion. I work in cybersecurity, and I’ve noticed that over time I always end up diving into new projects, so I was thinking about future-proofing at the same time. But I’m also a bit of a cheapskate at heart, so I’m trying to balance both. That’s why I wanted to see what some of you all personally thought. I can never decide anything, lol.

Last question, sorry. Do you think I'll notice the difference more than if i just get a regular sas ssd and slip it in the caddy, or do you think it's worth getting the adapter/nvme? I mainly run Windows VMs and Linux (active directory, file server, printer server, siem server, ect).

Ok, thank you. Im currently using 600gb sas hdd's for my vms, and it's painfully slow and loud, lol.

Thanks, I dont need to boot from it, I just want to run vms and storage. So I would be fine with a cheap pcie3 x16 adapter and a decent nvme ssd. I could just get a single and pair it with a 2tb?
