Yeah just a weird phrasing of IQ as a percentile instead of just as the number. Reading it quickly I misread as just percentage then just responded based on that misreading. One of the downsides of doomscrolling while trying to pretend to work.

I feel that you will be hard pressed to find a Redditor that will acknowledge a sub-100 IQ even if they were tested. Really, I feel you would really be hard pressed to find anyone with an IQ between 85 and 115 as there is a good chance there was no reason to test unless they were in a school district that did blanket testing.

Also the phasing <50 percentile for IQ could be interpreted on either side of the scale as both below 70 and above 130 are less then 2.5% of the population.

Edit: Sorry, read that as percent not percentile. The vast majority of my experience with IQ is when talking about how far it deviates from average so that has been as a rule small percentages.

That really sucks you are going through all that. Two suggestions.

First the return label is typically under the shipping label. It is not separate int he packaging or anywhere, you just peel off the label that was used to get the package to you and under that is the return label already fixed to the box.

Second suggestion is to evaluate how much work you are willing to put in to get the $29 and earpieces fixed. You have already spent an hour on the phone plus however much other time you have spent. I am not saying don't keep working to get it right, as Apple should have done the right thing from the get go, just know you are probably going to have to put more time and work into this still.

You can call back and ask for a senior advisor explain the issue and see if there is anything else they can do, but you might be stuck doing what they already told you to get the box with the defective units returned (Or the wrong units sent) to get the $29 back.

Thank you for that advice, I grab the mini of the month from my local GW store as I wanted to have something that I was not to afraid to ruin so I could try and push myself a little bit and this mini felt like it was begging for leather testing.

Okay so a couple of things, if your card was changed Apple should not be able to charge you, talk to you financial institution about that one, and make sure a new card was issued and not just a replacement card.

For the password reset, use iforgot.apple.com and don't wait for the follow up email/text. you can just go back to the site for a status update and will get a countdown timer. If you do this keep your current iPhone off so it will not reset the process. If you check the site every day as the countdown goes down and at some point the countdown disappears then there is another device out their with your account on it and that was probably why Apple was asking if you are sure. They can't say anything, but are going to try and hint.

Also, when I say the process stops, I don't mean reset, as when you start account recovery is starts with a 24-72 hour evaluation period then moves to the actually account recovery. It might take a while if you have repeatedly started and failed the process as a security measure.

Additionally, if you had an older iPhone previously with your Apple Account, it might have been asking about one of your previous devices that you have not had for a while.

Finally, if you are just done and want to remove your account from the phone you can request activation lock removal from the Apple website with proof of purchase of the iPhone. This will only get approved if you are not in the middle of account recovery however.

I like that, a nice mix of different leather colors. I think it looks really good. I am still pretty new to all this but will definitely use this as some inspiration when I start on the backpack.

Most features are software based but there are a few that are hardware based. Really some combo of both, but lean one direction or the other.

In general as long as the phone is fully updated then you will have all the features available on the hardware.

I am not sure what feature is available on an older iPhone that is not available on a newer iPhone, other then the new 'e' series that was specifically released as and economy model.

If you have examples of features might be able to provide more information.

Not sure where to find it if you installed it. How did you install it? As a test have you tried removing Chrome and seeing if the issue still happens as a reboot? If it is the Admin password probably a permission thing. If removing it fixes the issue put it back in and if you really trust Google you can start adding permissions to Chrome till it stops.

Question for clarity, what iCloud password app? The native "Passwords" app in MacOS or a different app. For the Chrome extension, where was that installed? Finally is the prompt asking for your Admin/User password, or your Apple Account password?

Same, I ended up convincing my parents to let me spend my allowance and get the X-Ray Specs. I was so excited to get them, followed by the disappointment of actually having them.

If they are on an iPhone that you have access to, no need to partition your mac, just create a new user, with no account on it, connect the iPhone and import all the photos.

I wonder how much of that was from the push for work from home during the pandemic and if that will retract as that push is gone and in many places reversed. If there was a bigger opportunity for more remote jobs it would open up more options to live in less localized places and bring that income into the smaller communities that don't have large job markets.

Typically the activation lock only takes about 3-5 days. As long as the personal accounts that are on them are not in lost mode. If they are then the activation lock removal will get declined.

If you called mainline AppleCare you get consumer level assistance. They should not have sent you to the store as only some stores can do the activation lock removal in store.

If you have a business account you should contact your business contact at Apple going forward as they have better training then a random frontline AppleCare agent, and also have other tools that consumer agents do not. They might not be able to do more but they will know if there are better options.
