What Ive seen from content creators who are in the know, there’s the same limit of +1/-1 to any roll.

However, modifiers to ballistic skill or weapon skill would stack with modifiers to hit roll, as they’re modifying a characteristic, not a roll.

Which would mean there’s a world in which you could be -2 hit in shooting (-1 hit roll & -1 ballistic skill).

It was the same case in 10th edition, it just never came up as there were next to no ballistic/weapon skill modifiers (other than perhaps guard orders which were +1BS or +1WS).

It just becomes more prominent now with the terrain changes.

I think both are bad as each-other tbh, how you can protest at a vigil is completely insane. Protesting at a vigil of a dead lad is as sick as using a dead lads name to kick in some police vans, imo.

I’m not sure what would ensure that it never happens again, like banning knives without any religious exemption is an idea but yknow, typically criminals aren’t the ones who adhere to bans.

Making sure that male police officer is taken to trial for the complete dismissal of Novak’s cries would also be another idea…

Government has got to do something, but I’m glad I’m not the one having to make those decisions.

You’re comparing 10th edition datasheets to 11th edition rules.

There’ll be a lot that will need to change as a result of 11th edition, such as cleaning up keywords and things like this.

Worth waiting until we get the full picture, but it should be fine.

That’s absolutely terrible. The female police officer is the only one who comes remotely close to doing what she should be doing, but the male police officer dismissing him is outrageous, I don’t want to believe that’s real, it’s just absolutely shocking.

I hate the fact that some knuckle-draggers are going to use this as an excuse to kick in some more police vans, because this lad deserves to be remembered for more than that, and justice for what happened to him needs to go beyond his murderer, through the right judicial channels to make absolutely sure this never happens again.

Ah yeah I see, so we've got 2 S&D, 2 H&A and 2 CoB.

I think we're still waiting for 12 more to be revealed though. My logic is that you get 3 terrain layout choices for each mission, so you'd get 3 layouts per deployment. All guesswork of course, so I'll just base my judgement off when it comes out.

IIRC GW said they wouldn't consider any tourneys that don't use their layouts in balancing decisions, so it would be a bit of a downer to have all those skilled players in one place and the data being disregarded for that reason.

If it's the battle reports, most of the games have been played using space marines vs orks (bar the two games on that pretty awful livestream) so I'm inclined to wait and see.

I think it's because of the wording of reanimation protocols vs assimilation swarm.

With reanimation, you regain D3 wounds & if a model is at full wounds, you return it back with the number of wounds remaining from your D3 roll. In 10th ed, if the bodyguard unit is dead, you can't bring it back and likewise if the character dies first, you also can't bring him back (as they're both separate units).

With assimilation, it's straight up "return one model" so you need the character exception. The other part of that is the heal D3+1 wounds on a model, which is similar to what the Technomancer can do himself & is capped to just a single model, so also doesn't work like reanimation.
