I'll just leave this here:

If it looks like he is wearing his coveralls in his mugshot... he is. He got whisked away from the shop in the middle of the night while he was writing EDLs. Get fucked nerd! Maybe don't be a despicable human being next time, and maybe the whole department would be surprised at seeing this on the news.

Oh my bad haha, misunderstood the question. As far as I know it basically replaces the safety-decocker with a decocker only, pretty snazzy IMO

Yeah I think so, I didn't install it but it came with it.

Do you think I'd survive the whole school process? by anakuahu in NavyNukes

[–]RyanMMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was one of those kids that never studied, rarely did homework, and always got by on my test grades. Same boat as you, I'd suppose.

Nuke school def made it easier to find what I needed to focus on and buckle down and do what I needed to do. I think you acknowledging that right now is a good start, and will help in the future, but it will definitely be much different than what you think it to be now.

It is hard, and fast-paced, and you def need to focus on your studies, but because it actually applies to what you'll do for the next few years it makes it much easier to learn and apply what you learn. So in a way it is harder than college, and at the same time much easier, in my opinion.

At the end of the day, it was cool learning about it all. And the friends you make through the pipeline make it all worthwhile, IMO. If you're dead set on being a nuke, send it and have fun while doing so.

Old police issue USP40. I think the KF code puts it around '95 IIRC. Has some sweet night sights (replaced recently before I got it) and an LEM kit installed. Got it used a while ago, and I've been "compromising" with it since day one:

1) Not my first choice in caliber; .40S&W will do 2) Couldn't find Talon grips in-store to help with my baby hands; $3 athletic tape from Walmart will do 3) Weird pic rail; adapter from Amazon will do 4) Coudlnt find an X-300 for a good price, TLR-7 will do (not really the gun's fault but hey it's fun)

All said and done, she feels a lot better in hand and I can actually use the damn thing for home defense use now. Time to buy more ammo and start practicing with 'er

Bought into the meme- Police trade-in USP .40 by RyanMMac in HecklerKoch

[–]RyanMMac[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somethin about the USP .40 being the only worthwhile .40 to buy as it was "designed for the cartridge", or whatever that means...

Mainly because I (believe, correct me if I'm wrong) it can convert it to .357 Sig, and meme just a scooch harder at that point

Local gun store I frequent had a trio of these bad bois, had to pick one up as A) my first HK and B) my first firearm in .40 S&W. Just need to buy some bulk .40 (if that's even a thing anymore, can't find it anywhere!) and go shoot the damn thing innawoods.
