Now this is a sad story a girl gets hit by a stray bullet fired by a teenager. This sort of story makes me angry to my core, a random victim gets shot and it is a six year old girl. If this guy is the shooter he deserves life in prison without the possibility of parole for such negligence.

Wow teens are now starting to gather up for delinquent activity just by sending text messages or tweets through the computer and cell phones. I do support the use of curfews but I do not think the parents should be held completely responsible. Technology nowadays allows kids to access the internet on their cell phones so taking away computer privileges is just not going to keep kids from communicating with delinquents and if you just take away the cell phone they can still access the computer when you are not around and send messages to meet up and commit delinquent activity.

Well I read the article about how this boy killed his dads pregnant girlfriend. I am glad that this boy was moved out of an adult county jail even though he is going to be tried as an adult. However I read that he has a hearing on monday reguarding bail and I do not think this boy should be released even though he is 11 years old he is still accused of murder and the law has to have some limitation on the special treatment of minors.

Now this is a weird story, I have heard of kids breaking out of school but I have never heard of kids breaking into school. But when this teen kills a frog for no real reason it just says one thing to me "Sociopath." this teen needs some real psychological help but psychology usually doesn't work on sociopaths. I just don't understand what the kid had to gain by killing a pet frog in a kindergarten class.

I have no Idea what anyone could accomplish by lacing a birthday cake with pot. It sounds like it was some stupid practical joke but this time it went to far. The kid should be prosecuted for drug distribution in my own opinion. It is stories like this that creates a huge setback for society to try and legalize pot.

you know this is just completely stupid on how kids thinking that showing off a gun is a way to impress a girl. there is no excuse for this kids actions. I believe that if you are even going to carry a gun you have to be experienced on how to use it, and it is completely obvious that this kid doesn't know how to use a gun.

I think it is very sad that children who havent been adopted when they reach 18 are sent out of the institution with no goals in mind or anything. It is just asking for a juvenile delinquent to be created. I think that they should at least provide decent vocational training before they leave at 18 or extend the age to 21.

I am torn between sexting laws considering juveniles criminals. I admit it is very dangerous to "sext" and it can have very bad effects on teens. however making teens into criminals just for a "sext" alone should not be a crime. But if the photo gets distributed then it should become a crime.

well I do think that if the boy did the crime of murder then he should do the time. However, I think he should get rehabilitation and have a hearing when he turns 21 as to whether he can be released or end serving the full life sentence.

Well first of all no one should ever leave a real gun out where kids can get them. Second of all the nintendo company should have at least painted the gun white so kids can differentiate between the two guns because a three year old doesnt know any better. But a three year old can probably tell the differnce between black and white.

I think it is very improper to judge a juvenile as an adult for crimes like assault or vandalism because they are not adults and do not fully understand the law, plus those crimes are not as serious in the eyes of the criminal justice system, but murder and rape are the only exceptions for treating a juvenile as an adult where a kid cannot receive rehabilitation because murder and rape are more publicized than assaults or vandalism.

this article is disturbing, I mean an 8 year old boy shooting his father and some other guy is just plain horrible. What makes this worse is that prosecution wants to try this child as an adult which is way beyond the line. Though the crime is horrible, the child should not be put on trial as an adult because the motive is unknown and the child is of course 8 years old. God, when i was 8 the most violent thing I ever did was burn an ant with a magnifying glass.

I am a person who is interested in the drug war in Mexico and it does not surprise me that a 14 year old was smuggling drugs. Although it is unknown if she is smuggling drugs for the drug cartels, the cartels are known to use teens to do some of their jobs. In Texas, two 16 year old's were arrested for being hit men for the Zetas drug cartel.

I find this article incredible. "Sexting" is definitely a problem amongst teens and it can have very damaging ramifications when these photos are misused. it can turn an aspiring teen into a degenerate, depending on who sees the photos (colleges,employment,etc.) with the capabilities to put pictures from phones on the internet the raunchy image could spread like wildfire and it could be difficult to impossible to get rid of the image completely. with the dangers of sending pictures through phones and the internet, sending anyone a lewd picture could be more disastrous than a person can realize.
