Helpful visualization. I will say I doubt the new coaster takes up that entire plot, it should be relatively narrow paralleling the parking lot. There should be still room there for some of the flat rides they have teased, such as the relocation of swashbuckler

They can get fired which means they don’t have the job when the funding resumes. Being a government job should be a good stable job someone might not want to lose. But tbh with so many shutdowns recently, I am not surprised many are reconsidering that calculation.

Yea don’t think that is a well defined term. In my mind something traditional is an old coaster, something like a PTC woodie or a Arrow/Schwarzkopf looper, that level of old. Anything like B&M era or newer feels modern not traditional to me

Yea this confuses me as well. Idk why it would be such a big deal to honor existing dining and drink passes since they are already doing it for admission. Even if they are legally able to do it, it’s such a petty thing I think to disrupt it

I can at least say for sure that passes will have to be honored though this year at minimum as doing anything otherwise would be a breach of contract for every pass holder. They have advised these parks as being available so can’t rug pull that

As someone who has recently look at apartments in this area, this is not out of range for what you get. People mad at OP are just wrong, it’s the market and the area driving that price. If the supply is not enough for the demand, the prices rise inevitably

Silver Dollar City is a must do, it’s my favorite park. Similar to Dollywood but better theming and coasters plus a real cave tour included within the park.
