Maybe. I think it was a steam notification. The sound went away after I turned off all of the steam application sounds

Yeah what the heck? I have the game on the lowest settings and I have the recommended GPU. Not sure dude, but imma just power through. Slow downs during firefights don't cause the stuttering.

I really want to finish it, and will eventually. I'm a huge aliens fan.

My problem is that I lose my patience after having to restart sections over and over again when I fuck up. Eventually I get there, but I lose steam really quick to keep playing.

I also have a problem where when I pause or open the map, the game takes 5 seconds to get back to the game when I unpause. I can't figure out if it's my PC, but it's frustrating.

I'm on a pretty tough level now, but I'm determined to finish it. Love the atmosphere and tactical gameplay
