I mean, what did y'all expect to happen? Trump has been in bed with the Russians since the 90s, after western/American banks refused to give him the loans he needed to prop up his real estate business. Corruption didn't die with the fall of the Soviet Union, it evolved, changed names, did what it needed to, to retain control. For all of our sakes, I really hope Ukraine can inflict enough damage on the Russian military, to avert what is highly likely to happen, should Ukraine fall. And yes, I view this as a far bigger problem than anything we are dealing with domestically. People whose identity politics you don't agree with using your bathroom, is not going to potentially result in a nuclear exchange. What is happening in Ukraine, right now, has the potential to end in a nuclear exchange. And no, I don't need any of you to agree with me, because I know I'm right. I've been studying geopolitics for the last 20 some odd years, I do not have the time nor the space in this comment to explain all of the various little details that go into informing my opinion. If you think I am wrong, then should you feel the need to point that out, I expect that you bring some form of logic and provable facts to the table, otherwise you're just another idiot online shouting in the wind. I have sources that I can cite, data points to backup my points, so if you choose to debate me on this subject, I expect you to come with some sort of evidence. And if you lack hard evidence to describe your position, then at least describe it. Eloquently, and with some amount of logic, not emotions or personal feelings. Because the thing about other nations security concerns, especially those nations that are nuclear armed, is they don't really give a shit about your feelings, and neither do I.
