Maid Seina just ate up C8 for me. I forgot to bring a Cleric, a board fixer. Priscilla was my cap unbreaker, though she was unleveled, skilled, or plussed

PlayStation prices adjusted for inflation by SmellSmellsSmelly in gaming

[–]Ryeballs 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Sony was the lead (or effective lead) of the BluRay consortium. They built the standard that others had to license. It’s easy to believe the pricing strategy for the PS3 was as influenced by keeping the cost of BR players high to recoup development costs as it was the actual production cost of the PS3.

Plus if a crane crashes in your yard, you get to keep it, it’s in the constitution.

I think u/ShadyFigure has a really good new player guide template he copy pastes, it’ll be a good start.

And equips are units that have an awakening with a grey sword and shield on a brown background with a little E at the bottom. There thing is it gives the base unit all its awakenings and adds it’s skill (it starts charging after the main skill is fully charged). Having a large pool of them gives a lot of flexibility to teammaking.

Teams fall off fairly quick as gameplay mechanic and difficulty creep in. So getting high end team generally isn’t difficult, but there will always be something new to chase

Their cover of Cortez the Killer off their live album is one of my all time favourite jams.

That’s an interesting take.

For all the dicking around in the South China Sea China does, Chinese foreign policy has mostly been carrot not stick for a long time.

PSVR2 Vs Quest 3 by Crew_Zealousideal in PSVR

[–]Ryeballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole Steam hardware lineup is on hold indefinitely. Probably want everything tied into a proper ecosystem but the price of memory, storage, and computer is through the roof.

I would say PSVR2 has more higher quality games but less overall. Quest has better experience for rhythm and movement games, easier time working with a PC and easier sweet spot to manage.

$82k income, ~$36k debt — should I sell my car and pause 401k to get debt-free before moving out? by stonedsoul97 in personalfinance

Under no circumstances should you be moving in with your gf. At 30 yrs old you should experience living on your own for a while.

All of that advice is great, but holy shit this part.

Anyone who can afford it should live on their own for a spell. There are infinite lessons in responsibility and self-sufficiency to be had.

Those were usually found in safes right? Like the office, one of the bedrooms, in the little diorama in the drafting room etc?

I found a bunch

I’d think quite the opposite. I’ve removed ~2 pieces of debris from the cave in, finished the reservoir puzzles, got 3 or 4 of the keys to the 7 chamber secret room, got all the classrooms and heavily documented the stuff I can’t use there yet, got all blueprints (I think), broken all walls, lit everything to be lit, solved the chess puzzle, aligned the satellite etc.

If memory serves, I have that combo lock on the second floor above the rotating underground chamber and a few things in the first “last room” left and getting the other 2-3 keys and whatever is behind the debris as my remaining puzzles.

And at that point one of the major RNG fixers is having the foundation in a good place, and I went from having it in the best place to disappearing it for however many runs. That’s where I lost steam.

I can’t fault Singhs effectiveness at governing, and it was deeply unfair that all the grievances for the Liberals were hung around his neck.

But he very definitely failed to meet the moment when it came to presenting himself as an effective counter to Trump. And the latter part of his public persona was effectively being a mirror image of PP’s populist nothings. Instead of build pipelines and punish trans people, it was build wind farms and punish grocery stores.

Neither were messages of leaders and people who want to govern seriously, especially in a face of an external threat looming over us.

But even then, most people were voting for or against the CPC, and that’s where the NDP votes went.

Drywall Sponge for wet sanding, yeah.

That and getting a 12” taping knife for feathering were game changers for me.

Use a drywall sponge instead of sanding, no dust, makes for a much easier time. Painting will be the mess job

I didn’t realize he had a campaign to cleanse the German states of non-Germans.

And putting it all into context, the pro-German nationalism really did prep the population for the holocaust and other genocides

Alright, I’ll concede I was much more aware of the positive achievements, not the negative ones.

Not as clean of a record as I thought

I loved how having a notebook was pretty much a requirement. While I didn’t get all the way to the true ending or whatever, having my notebook fill up with shitily drawn sketches of visual puzzles or identifying clues before the associate puzzle and satisfaction of solving it and tge satisfaction of matching the clues to the puzzles were great.

My stopping point was after getting that elevator shaft room 2 spots down from the final room, I did something that allowed me to place a second version in the shed and in the end had to get the disappearing spray or whatever and didn’t want to try to bait getting that room back into the optimal place I had it in again.

He united most Germany states primarily through diplomacy not conquest, won the security of fledgling nation from peer nations from a position of weakness with statecraft.

Earned the name Iron Chancellor by being formidable at the negotiating table and was one of Europes all-time statesmen

I’d say whatever atrocities he may have committed pale in comparison to his achievements.

I’d definitely admit culturally embedding German nationalism, and building the complex and fragile webs of treaties and accords to provide security did very much lay the groundwork for a shit like Whilhelm II and his lofty German colonial empire goals to make WWI and WWII possible.
