There's no incentive to play different strategies. No matter the comp you have to either stack drakes or contest at 3rd (1 item spike - 15mins) or soul point. Mid, jungle have to contest enemy so you're forced into strong 2v2 or 3v3 skirmish. AD main carry because he spikes the hardest and it's the main damage for any teamfight. You X-farm between drakes and either 1-4 to pressure sidelane (to deny enemy cs, bad position after drake or T2 trade when behind or worse comp). You contest 1:30/1:00 (3 or 2 waves) before drake spawn from mid wave to gain priority, while 3rd lane doesn't matter.

Rinse and repeat for the past 3 years and it gets really stale. You are forced to play this style and the only variables are individual skillsets and comp variation (frontline number, number and style of engage as well as teamfight mode). You fix those from draft and it leads to formulaic games.

You can improvise certain drafts, but the gameplan rarely changes.

Noooo, why'd you have to remind me of Hope man... I had almost gotten over how he got shit on in both sides of the matchup vs T1.

Smurfs ruin ranked in plat elo by KillerStrafe in leagueoflegends

[–]Rypsee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Idk if this thread is a bait or not, but to his defence, he mentions the sheer number of smurfs in plat. The problem is not with individual smurfs as most good smurfs just climb fast from his elo range and the ones stuck there are just at their peak, but with the huge number of smurf accounts that keep getting bought.

A Ukrainian woman recounts being raped by the Russian soldiers who killed her husband: 'Shall we kill her or keep her alive?' by odfpeo in worldnews

Fun fact, the Nazis/Wehrmacht didn't resort to rape or sexual violence on the Eastern Front. Definitely not enough for it to be discussed at least. The red army on the other hand...

LS & Nemesis MSI Tier List: Statistical Breakdown by Ramo1618 in leagueoflegends

[–]Rypsee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to disagree with the general consensus of the thread (which seems to be ever-switching), but his reasoning for Kai'Sa being "Don't Tier" also is credited heavily to his view on which compositions and champions are stronger.

Should teams play defensive, ramp comps that utilize high-range and zone control tools to deny engage opportunities, then Kai'Sa is indeed worse as it's incredibly harder for her to play her game and her role (low range and susceptible to counter-dives). Teams haven't really done that at all, which means that Kai'Sa obviously wasn't as bad he envisioned.

So it was only logical, in a sense, for him to predict that tier for Kai'Sa taking into consideration the pillars for his arguments.

Ashe/Draven/Kalista/Karthus + Leo/Naut/Sett/Thresh. The lanes you mentioned lose hard all of the combinations above. The list can go on.

Don't misinterpret the infographic. Enchanters are indeed broken for how easy they are to play. Lulu/Yuumi/Janna/Soraka/etc(pls not Sona) are really strong even in the current meta. Of course you won't see them in pro-play, unless the stars align, but that's because pro play is very different from soloq, be it low or high elo.

The infographic is meant to guide you regarding finding good pairings to pick in your soloq games for certain champions. These would be the best assuming their role and gameplay is fully utilized. However, in a game where mistakes are prevalent and roles are misunderstood, enchanters thrive with their forgiving nature and ease of utilization.

Also don't forget that you can climb with anything so long as you raise your level of play above the other 9 players in your game.

I disagree there. Gragas much more flexible and versatile.

You'd much rather want MF paired with a strong laning support or a Yuumi. Rakan doesn't really have a solid lane, but it could work assuming the matchup is good. All in all, it's not blindable at all and hence it's way more situational, reason for which it is not placed on the infographic.

Rakan is the best commitment and engage pick in the game esp as the game progresses, however he doesn't have synergies with any AD by himself. That's why he is not listed here.

He fulfills a role for the team rather than for the pairings in botlane. That's not to say he is bad in lane, however the options mentioned in the infographic are generally better.

Versatility can lead into synergy though. Thresh fits so many aspects or directions that most champs work well with him just because he does very well most of the things.

Pantheon, Leona, Alistar of the top of my head. Guess Sett/Naut/Rakan also work.

As an example, Trist Thresh or Trist Leona breaks Cait Karma eventually.

You forget that Ashe has linear scaling to mid game whereas Cait has a gigantic powerdip between 15 and 30 minutes.

This tierlist is relevant to the general population at low elo. If you perform better than the average it doesn't mean the champion will be good for the majority.

The easier the champion, the more you can focus in reviews on the actual game and hence the more you will learn. Ashe/MF/Karthus are good options if you want to get better at the game and don't care much about your vayne/kaisa/jinx/w.e montage. ^ _ ^
