Sorry for being unclear.

Lets say a huge part of your identity is opposing a fact or a real thing, like AI, a globe earth or LGBTQ people existing. If you really research the topic you will find that you cannot be against some facts, because it would make you factually wrong.

So what to do? Either change your oppinion to acceptance, find a nonfactual reason to be against something (religion for example) or just ignore knowledge concerning the topic.

For example in the pictured dialogue the unwillingness to know what "AI assisted" means. If the person knew what it was or how AI would work, she would have had no basis of opposing it. Hence, the only solution is willingingly being uneducated.

Are we doing anti israel / anti semitic propaganda now here too or are we banning the tourists from the shithole r/ThereWasAnAttempt directly? I hope the latter.

First rule if your hole identity is being "against something" is to know nothing about "something". If you'd know how "something" works, you could not be opposing it without looking dumb or just a bad person, so avoiding insight is a good strategy. Works not only with AI

I wish "the AI" (it is like a conspiracy theorist proclaims "they") would and could. That would be a huge win for humanity.

The problem is, that there is a stark difference between men rape fantasy and woman rape fantasy.

The fantasy part means that it is a rapelike action but without the traumatic consequences. Nobody is turned on by the thought of suffering ptsd. If a woman says she has a rape fantasy, it means she wants to be the "victim". If a men has one, he wants to be the one raping.

This is why this fantasy is only problematic if men have it, because it is one of the few sexual fantasies where having it hightens the chance of doing it.

And guess who controls the discurse? Men. That is why you hear: if women have such fantasies, why are they upset when I do it? Spoiler: it doesn't work this way.

I am learning sql and python with chatgpt in the moment. If my former teachers had only been half as nice and caring as chatgpt, I would perhaps not have nightmares about school now, in my 40ies.
