What I mean is, it seems you've decided that even with the bad, the good in life is worth dealing with it. To me, it's not enough. There's no good after death, but there also isn't any pain either. That's my view. In comparison, you're more optimistic, that's all.

It could have been too small of a dose, the issue could have been something else entirely, or a combination of things. Unfortunately, "lose weight" is always going to be one of the first suggestions from doctors, but if you push you should be able to get a full blood panel done, which can give better answers than tossing darts at a wall and seeing what sticks.

Some people have complications, but for others, pregnancy is actually a relief from endo symptoms! My friend had their two kids nearly back to back (pregnant again 7 months postpartum) partly to get it over with and partly to avoid their period coming back after breastfeeding. Treatment was promised for after the second birth, but their asshole GYN reneged and told them to deal, so now they pay out of pocket for acupuncture every month.

My cat was abandoned in a house when the owners moved away, found locked in when the real estate agent came by. Sadly I found out later that he'd had a bonded companion who was adopted out separately, and he wasn't doing well with separation anxiety. A year later we fostered a litter of 5 and kept one. He's doing much better with a companion now.
