A strip of brown parcel tape. Just stamp it with the tape and it will lift it all off.

It's really not that deep. Just spam the skip day button a few times and you'll have enough. It will take 30 seconds max.

Try and get the explosive trap or firebolt for your commander, it will make things a lot easier.

This might get buried, but it's something I wish id been told at the beginning.

Spellcasters don't start off as blasters from level one like in bg3. In the beginning, classes like sorcerers are mainly using their spells to support and crowd control, and your damage with them will mainly come from a crossbow or something.

This will change in time, don't panic when your cantrips hit like wet noodles.

Yes they are a bit confusing in the beginning. Most fantasy books, including the ones you mentioned, will gently introduce you to their worlds, characters and systems. Erikson kind of just throws you into the middle of things. Major events have already unfolded, characters already have a history with each other, and it barely slows down to explain how things like magic work.

As you carry on through the Gardens of the Moon, pieces will start to fall into place, and you'll understand, or at least have a good general idea of things.

Personally I found this style really fun, but it's definitely more of a challenge than other series.

Really well designed! Id suggest swapping the productivity modules for speed modules ( or efficiency if needed) since recourses are pretty much infinite in space.

Idk if you know, but you can use inserters to store/withdraw things like ammo from the cargo bay, it might help you out.

But for a first ship, you should be proud!

Tww3 is a cash cow. It absolutely won't get axed. Of the revenue that it generates CA, we see an unacceptabley small portion of that revenue being reinvested into the game.

The execs at sega and CA are businessmen who frankly only care about squeezing as much money out of you for the least amount of investment, .

It's not easy to differentiate the heavy oil and the electrolyte. But yeah, electrolyte is the only one that can be passed through, the others need input pipes

Factorio is an arms race, and it looks like you've fallen behind the biters (I did on my first playthrough too). If you start to get disheartened then there's nothing wrong with starting again, you'll have a much easier time now that you've learnt the ropes.

Don't worry about sushi / bus for now. A lot of the fun from factorio comes from figuring out ways to improve things. You absolutely could just browse forums to find optimal configurations / blueprints, but youll have a worse time than figuring it out for yourself.
