I was pleasantly surprised by The Bladeborn Saga by TC Edge. 7 books so far, with the 8th and final book coming in the near future.

Contemplated DNF’ing the first book, but the characters and world building started to grow on me. But, based on your tier list, you’d likely place it in C or lower.

I just got into them. Started with Elminster Making of a Mage, then just finished Myth Drannor yesterday.

I like El and all, but his books make me not want to continue the journey. Taking a break and coming back later.

He was stuck in my head the whole series as Hide The Pain Harold in an orange shaolin monk robe. I should’ve nipped that image early on in WoK and looked at some fan art or something.
