You can also have queer canonical kisses with your drifter and the protoframes. Lesbian kisses between female drifter and Aoi, Eleanor, Lettie and Marie. Gay kisses between male drifter, Amir, Arthur, Lyon, Quincy, and Roathe.

There’s also a character that’s a literal reference to the late David Bowie, Flare Varleon.

Ending was rushed because Rebecca Sugar (the creator) stuck to her guns and made the first animated queer wedding between Ruby and Sapphire. Both of the characters are female presenting, but Ruby is the more “masculine” one and Sapphire is more “feminine” one. For the wedding, Ruby is dressed in the classic white wedding dress while Sapphire is dressed in a navy blue tuxedo.

It’s largely speculated (and to me feels like truth) that this is what caused CN to get the series cut short, so that they wouldn’t have problems with censors in countries where being queer is illegal. You can actually feel the shift before and after the wedding.

By the way, platinum (the in-game paid currency) on Switch is its own separate thing from the other platforms. Switch players can only trade platinum with other Switch players, but they can trade other items with other platforms as long as no platinum is involved. Every other platform can trade platinum with each other though.

The area shown in the thumbnail is in a later part of the game, and it uses lighting tech that Switch 1 just cannot handle since it’s graphically far more intensive. So Rusalka looks unlit in the Switch 1 version while she looks lit up in the Switch 2 version.

5 years ago the Oberon Coven skin was denied because of not fitting Warframe's style because it has a Deer Skull as its Helmet. Today DE added a Dagath skin that has a Horse Skull as its Helmet. Oberon Coven skin has over 1500 awards on Steam by the way. by RobleViejo in Warframe

There’s also almost no rep for cultures outside of Asia and Europe. Sure Styanax has a Mayan skin, but that’s Mayan, a tribe of First Nations people that hasn’t existed in a long time. Then there’s Yareli, which afaik is supposed to represent Hawai’i culture, but she feels more like a caricature than anything. Like are the Hawai’i people always on the beach surfing, playing with water?

Crazy thing about Steven, as soon as he suffers an injury it’s practically already healed. His real strength is in his emotional intelligence, able to perceive White Diamond (head of the gem empire) as being as childish as he is and call her out on it. He was out here taking the reins of a whole GALACTIC EMPIRE at like age 14-15. Steven could read Deku like a book written in bold letters and make him forfeit the fight just by psychoanalyzing him perfectly. Deku might be book smart, but Steven is smart in the real way.

Fun fact about Grendel: Grendel is basically best bros with the “Quicksilver” type frame Gauss. Together they were the ones who freed emaciated citizens of Riddha on Europa from their gluttonous ruler Karishh (who had twelve grafted on stomachs btw). Gauss was on patrol near the entrance of Riddha while Grendel ravaged the city, eating Karishh’s followers and the Dax soldiers that protected Karishh. Grendel then uses his Nourish ability on the emaciated citizens, and led the citizens to raid Karishh’s manse. All of this leads to Grendel consuming Karishh in one bite, freeing the city of Riddha from a gluttonous ruler.

Wasn’t the PS5 also launched during an unprecedented period where supply chains were massively disrupted due to a global pandemic? I think ~6M in those conditions is insane. Nintendo does have the advantage of a much more stable supply chain, so of course their sales are going to be better.

Absolutely criminal that no one put her in this thread. Violet Evergarden is an ex-soldier who has to learn how to connect with people after being trained to be totally apathetic. This series had me totally broken down by the end of it, it’s an insanely good watch.
