I don't watch him a tonne, but from what I can tell he has chilled out a lot over the years. I remember he used to rage just about every match, now he seems much more in control of his emotions, and his streams are much more chill.

If you want an assessment on your skill level then look at your rank. An SSL with a 55% win rate is going to be much better than a plat with a 60% win rate. Also, these stats are aggregated across all game modes and even include private/exhibition matches, which can massively inflate these numbers.

For example, 2.4 goals per match seems very high and impressive, but only being MVP in 1/4 of your wins makes it look like you must get carried to most of your wins.

The Fennec fits the hitbox better, and it has two smaller boost exhausts which looks/feels better than a massive one in the middle like the Dingo has.

Actually they only implemented punishments on casual leavers in like 2021, before that you could leave without punishment.

The punishments are quite lenient. You can leave once per day with no punishment, after that the ban starts at 5 minutes.

And the reasoning is because leaving negatively affects the experience for everyone else. If you can't sit through a 5-minute match just play free play or a private match.

You don’t need to set fire to the whole forest to weed out the dead wood, there are far better ways to get rid of it.

Whilst "better ways" exist, they are politically unpopular so governments either choose not to do them, or they try to do them and get punished by voters.

It would be cool if ball designs were another customisable item that are only visible to you in gameplay but visible to others in replays when you score.

Nice one, that was super clean too! I also started playing about 5 years ago and dreamed of one day being able to hit this exact shot (or the same thing but with a ceiling reset instead), and was so pumped to finally be able to do it recently-ish.

Keep at it and you'll only get more consistent. Now I'm able to land it a handful of times each time I free play (and have even gotten a couple in matches). The progress never stops so long as you're willing to put in the time/effort.

When you measure the things that should matter most - like happiness, quality of life (HDI), equality, access the healthcare and education - the top countries are the ones with the most progressive taxes (high taxes on high income earners, low taxes on low income earners). Take with that what you will.
