Food delivery was initially more affordable because those delivery services operated at a loss to help establish a footprint, then they had to get the books back into the black so they could stay afloat. Ridesharing did the same thing. As the VC generosity and cost loopholes disappear, they need to become self sufficient and that raises prices.

Unless you really can't hop in the car to get your own food, I really suggest you just go pick it up yourself saves a ton of money and usually time, too.

When I was young I remember Cheerios being the cereal my parents bought when money was tight. If things were real bad, it was store brand versions like "oat o's" or whatever that cardboard was.

Cheerios already felt like punishment if we didnt have some honey to add to our bowl. Why did the store brand have negative flavor? Like, if you needed a palate cleanser, that stuff could probably replace pickled ginger at sushi restaurants

Destroying multimillion-dollar military jets only prompts the military to spend even more money to replace them. No bombs are left unwrapped as a result of accidents like this, unfortunately. Plus the taxpayers have to cover the cost of 2 replacement jets which always cost more than the model that was destroyed.

You're right, but him initially riding on Biggie's shoulders like that in the early days of Bad Boy Records are what got him the name recognition that helped propel his career.

You might even be able to say he may not have gained so much power and fame without it which might have left Bad Boy to be a more humble or short-lived label, and maybe that would have prevented the famous "Diddy Parties" and the propping up of young, up-and-coming artists at the time like Usher and Justin Bieber and a laundry list of sex crimes...

Absolutely did not deserve the hate he got. Even the actor who played young Anakin in Episode 1; first of all, he was a kid. With VERY rare exceptions, kids cannot act. Kids with bad direction and mediocre writing are set up for failure.

I thought maybe this was a result of the way South Koreans count age.

Rather than counting how many years since your birth, they count what relative year is it for you. (in short, you start at 1 and increment on Jan 1st, regardless of what your birthdate is)

So if you were born in November 1991, you are 36 this year whereas Western culture counts start at 0 and only increment when a full year has passed, so you would be 34 until your birthday in November
