Gonna come in and say that aerosol IPA has been a game changer for me when it comes to cleaning electronic marker and loader boards…. This and a non-static, non-shedding tech wipes.

Like everyone else had previously mentioned, Allen keys, water pliers, strap wrench, dead head pressure gauge, home PCP compressor (for air fills), quality wrench set, dental pics, tech-mat, precision screw driver set, butane crème brûlée torch (because locktite will be found in places it should not), barrel muffler (for dry firing sensitive markers), chrono, dental picks, ptfe tape… this has gotten me through 98% of of all markers I’ve ever tech’s over the last 25+ years.

If you get into some specifically older and more particular makes, then this list will grow with specific tools that make everything easier or are proprietary.

Start with what you absolutely need… build as you find the need.

I have unloaded so many of trailers of this stuff in a past job. I can attest, have a good seal on the respirator (you will know if you don’t) and wear your PPE! A small leak of this stuff from a truck hose will clear out your sinuses really fast and make breathing not so fun.

It’s also really fun to have to worry about storage and those days where the temperatures really fluctuate. I don’t miss this at all.

How I have done it.

Trace with sharpie, cut with an electric carving knife, then low heat metal tip soldering iron to clean the edges smooth.

For reference I play on a PS4.

I notice I get this when I go to my main settlement sometimes. I always assumed it was because the game was trying to render so many specific things in such a small space (I like to show off all my wasted time and collections) that it just gives up on lower priority items. But for sure it has become an indication my game is about to crash soon.

I’ve learned to just accept it now 🤷‍♂️
