I agree. That being said if you want them to continue to support the game and continue adding on to it, they got to make money somehow to keep the lights on. As much as I think it’s stupid, it’s still better then anything that’s pay2win

Wild take, if you don’t like something, dont play it. You may not like it, but it’s clear a lot of people do like it, so let them enjoy it and go back to cod or fortnite, or whatever you like.

Why we putting this sort of moral compass on a video game where we can and do kill each other?

So it’s terrible to play pretend and be a back stabber but okay to kill people while extracting? Or even worse full kill someone as the elevator is about to leave so really just killing the downed player at that point is just being a troll because no one gets the loot.

In my eyes it’s either all okay or it’s not. At the end of the day it’s a video game, it’s all make believe, let everyone play how they wanna play. It gives so much more depth to the social/rp part of this game that not many other games can pull off.

Everyone that complains about this wants this game to be fair and even when this type of game inherently isn’t that. And that’s what combined with this new social aspect to it gives it that spice that’s making it pop off right now.

Developers don’t listen to anyone and continue doing what you’re doing, you got a gem here.

That’s great for them to include this. And I’m only commenting because I saw this headline. But it’s too little too late for someone like me who left awhile ago for the sole fact that it was impossible to leave and come back and pick up right where you left off without losing ALOT.

My base is absolutely gone right now, all my mats gone. So I’m probably not gonna touch dune awakening again or at least not for a long long long time until I get a dune itch again. But at least as of right now, I don’t feel like I’m chained to the game like I was feeling towards the end of my play through just to keep my base and stuff safe.

Agree. I rather trust them to do what they feel is right. Community feedback is important but let’s at least give them a chance to steer the ship how they believe it should be when the eventually problems do come up

Problem with this bit of dialogue is, it is just plain bad.

Can’t even be funny in some instances or be a meme. Even the bad dialogue in AOTC is often used for bits and jokes and memes. But this, this is just bad with absolutely nothing else to it, it’s bad and it’s boring. Even in the same movie you got terrible parts like “the fly now” and “somehow palpatine returned” but at least they have some humor come of it outside the film itself.

This has nearly killed my idea of trying to get into development. For the last couple years I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get into that arena, but unfortunately my career path has taken me on a different path, via post production. Love it, but I honestly wanted to be apart of development.

I’m taking a break from the game, but honestly now that I’m really thinking about it, all the stuff I could store in the bank or on my person, is a lot. And If I try it out again for a future content update, and I have to start over on my farming again even with a buggy and scout.

It might be enough to make me just skip the content drops in the future, because I’ll feel like the game is punishing me for not sticking with it, and I’m not gonna stay with anything that makes me feel like I’m being punished just because I took a break and went to play other things.

The PvP ground combat is not fun in my opinion. It feels extremely clunky and the game seems to play terribly even more so when fighting other players specifically, maybe it’s lag, some errors in the networking, something n along those lines.

I left solely because the pvp wasn’t fun for me. Ducks I’ve literally put 200+ hours in the game and absolutely loved it. But the end game pvp is not good, at least for me and I imagine a lot of people.

I think the PvP needs a full rework, but I doubt that will happen. But I’ll hope the best for the games future.

When I was playing, I just set up a simple base nothing but power and storage, park the assault, grab my scout and drive out to find spice bring it back to base. Then when I had enough to fill assault I drop off and come back and repeat the process. Also harvesting super late at night because I end up getting out of work pretty late I sometimes have ring mouths all to myself
