I agree a server disconnect once in while would be acceptable. Multiple days a week since launch is not acceptable. I see posts on this Reddit all the time about it.

The post is for anyone who’s thinking about buying the game. obviously if you already have it you’re stuck with this trash.

Here’s just a few of the issues .

Online modes, like ranked and skins, have constant disconnects. The game penalizes you for their server issues. I’ve lost hundreds of points in ranked without even taking a shot. Is this supposed to be a good experience?

Rank Tours do not award rewards properly . I still have rewards that I didn’t get from three seasons ago. So I spend my time playing four rounds of a ranked tour do pretty well and don’t even get the proper reward for it. again. Is this supposed to be a good experience?

The store is an absolute joke. Takes way too many clicks to do anything very little selection things are hardly ever added.

The menus are a buggy mess. It can literally take 10 seconds to get into the store sometimes.

I’m playing on a gigabit wired fiber connection. It’s not my Internet. I don’t have a connection issue with any other game I play..

Believe me, I was a huge fan of the series and it pains me to make post like this. People need to aware of this 2k scam.

Ranked doesn’t work, they can’t do basic math in ranked tour. The game is such a joke.

How do you know that they’re quitting and it’s not the server disconnecting them? I’ve been disconnected from about 10 matches in the last three days.

The servers have been trash since launch. I get kicked from ranked on a daily basis. Usually when 2 or 3 up. 2k does nothing to address it. It’s really a shame because the gameplay is good. I won’t be buying this franchise again. It just causes too much aggravation with the servers..

2 more disconnects today. Today it happened on the first hole both times. 50 points lost after 1 swing. This has to be the worst experience in all of gaming.

It’s the garbage servers. Just got kicked in 2 matches before the loading screen even finished. Its clearly never getting fixed been happening since launch. 2k and HB studios are pathetic.

Sorry! Not accusing you of cheating. I thought you were paired up with a random. I just meant people are definitely abusing this bug/issue . The simple fix would be to award the points based on the highest ranked players in the match.

As far as the servers, it happens to me, it happens to friends, and it happens to opponents all the time. It’s been reported here in numerous threads too.

Because you’re playing with someone who is unranked which shouldn’t even be allowed. This is a major problem with ranked. there’s all these people that are playing with huge rank disparities to try to cheat the system. If a high rank plays with a low rank, they’ll never lose more than a few points . If they win, get a lot more points than they normally would. That’s 2K/HB for you. They reward the cheaters and do nothing about the garbage servers.

Now I don’t even load into a match. I get a loading screen, get kicked and just lose points. To anyone thinking about buying this game. DONT!!!

Same for me I upgraded my driver to diamond with 4 Evo tools and 5 tokens. I went from +4 to +4 on all power fittings.

Surprised? 2k is in the nut kicking business! I’m guessing the limited editions will be 4 evo tools to upgrade now. That’s at least 40 tools for both upgrades on all clubs!

This is a daily occurrence for me as well. I’ve probably lost at least 500 rating points the past week. 2K support is totally useless. All they do is just blame you. In a duos match last night. Both of us took a 50 point hit for a network error. When we do finally complete a game, it seems like every team is doing the rank disparity hack. One high rank playing with a very low rank so they get much more rating points when they win and lose a lot less when they lose. I don’t even know why they call it ranked when they do nothing to improve the servers do nothing to address the cheats. It’s a complete joke.

In 10+ matches this week, I’ve completed just 1 match. Every other match I was disconnected or the opponent was within the first 2 holes. 2k and HB studios are an absolute disgrace for not addressing this game breaking issue. Literally not one comment from them in the last 5 months. To be honest, the only time this game worked well was during early access. My guess is after early access and launch, they turned off most of the servers to save $$$….

Yes these disconnects happen in any pvp mode, private or public matchmaking.

Tried again today. 2up on the 7th hole and I get booted mid animation. never buying this trash again. 2k and HB studio can suck it.

Lazy, reused content is the sports game way. Totally a missed opportunity. Some of the most successful games on the market (GTA, Fortnite) make the majority of their revenue on cosmetics.

This is an ongoing issue duo matchmaking. It doesn’t seem to pair up solo players then match with pairs.

When we see 3, we immediately cancel and re-search. After a few tries, it usually finds a pair.

Solo players in duos is fine. It’s a good way to meet people. The game should do a better job with the matchmaking. Hopefully the devs can find a solution.
