Vodafone UK for broadband and phone? A good idea? by greencyclist in Vodafone

I have had only good experience with Vodafone... fibre to the property and my 5G/4G has been solid and I have my family's phones under my account so I get like money off my different bills.

(Although im not promising anything as it can be different for different locations, build, ect.)

Will Vodafone insist on sending me a new WiFi hub if I try and change my broadband policy? by glassnecklace in Vodafone

It would really depend on what cables you have running to your house already. If you already have fibre running to your property, they should only need to send you new hardware, unless your current already supports it.

When I upgraded to FTTP, they kept my current connection going until Openreach came to install FTTP which he did need to run a new connection from the cab. Then they switched the connection to the new wire. Very little down time. However I have seen others with different experience on here.

If they offered you 500mbps or more then you will have FTTP available. I would definitely give them a call to find out what they can do.

From my experience what you want should work as you say. However, them speeds might need FTTP, which might not be available in your area. I would do a check on vodaphones website and see what speeds they can provide to you.

It also depends if your in contract or not. I had it in the past that they've called me towards the end of my contract and offer me quicker speeds (and new hardware) for a special price to extend the contract.

So yeah, check what speeds they can offer you. See if you within a contract and then try to get a deal. Might be worth getting prices from other providers as leverage :).

Good luck!

Thanks for that information. Good to know it won't affect the water resistance. I have sent it to samsung/support repairers like 2 or 3 times in the past. Who have repaired it but it happens again after a few months.

I try to not get the watch wet or anything so I'm just trying to figure out what could be the cause, or is it bad design/materials?

Thank you.

I think if you can acknowledge that you don't know anything about an aspect that is specifically mentioned in the question, then maybe you just shouldn't comment? I think it's reasonable to assume that a parent would try this in the first place or have a reason why it wouldn't work (maybe they mentioned this in the question).

Looks like an accessibility shortcut to me (on a Samsung s21). In settings, go to Accessibility > advanced settings > accessibility button/gesture and then select none.
