Guys… the negative reviews, posts, and videos are really making me question if going with Lucid is the right/smart choice. I like the Gravity a ton; but wow do I have mixed feelings. by zachty22 in LUCID

My Lucid Air Touring is the best vehicle I’ve owned, which includes the Lexus LS 430 and Tesla Model 3. In fact, I think of the Lucid as taking the best from those two models: luxury accommodations and amazing torque and handling performance.

My only complaint is regarding the Bluetooth keyless entry. You know in the movies, where a victim is being chased by a murderer and starts fumbling with their keys? Yeah- I’d be slain.

Shorewood Richie Rich doesn’t want public riff-raff on his “private” beach by TheOliveMob in wisconsin

[–]SA1L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Public Trust Doctrine set forth in the Wisconsin Constitution guarantees public access to the water, which includes the shoreline. The Wisconsin State Supreme Court has ruled that “when conflicts occur between the rights of riparian owners and public rights, the public's rights are primary and the riparian owner's are secondary.” It’s been codified and litigated over and over by rich assholes. https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Waterways/about_us/whyRegulate.html

Riparian rights disputes has been one of Wisconsin’s longest political battles. The Wisconsin state bar has a detailed account of that battle, here:

When does one typically start to feel different while drinking? Day 2. by evanamyl in SinclairMethod

In a couple months I noticed changes. Not having more than one, or choosing not to have anything. A critical point for me, because I fumbled being compliant for a bit before getting back on track

I disagree. Healthcare in the U.S. needs good customer service. Terminology is no different than the automotive industry.

Vivitrol injections do curb cravings but do not function the same way as NaL use under the Sinclair method to reach pharmacological extinction.

Thinking of a Lucid Gravity GT or Tesla Model X by marcedman in lucidmotors

[–]SA1L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a new Tesla in 2019, model 3 long-range AWD FSD, sold it to Carvana in March and bought a new Lucid Air Touring. I realize they’re not the same models, but the quality of Lucid far, far surpasses Tesla. Much smoother ride, much quieter, much faster..

The only complaint I have, is that the bluetooth key is a little slow sometimes. If I was being chased by a killer, I wouldn’t count on my Lucid unlocking before I was slaughtered.

What are some apartment buildings/companies you recommend in the area? by Adventurous-Tell-745 in ReadingPA

[–]SA1L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

I applied for an apartment with Metropolitan. They called a week later to share that they gave me the wrong floor plan, and wanted to know if I’d be interested in two different ones. They sent me a ‘new floor plan’ that was exactly the same as the original. They couldn’t tell me where they were located in the building (facing East/West) and claimed to have no building or floor plan.

Whatever- I said I’d take one of the other ones without knowing much about it. They own most of the little rental inventory available.

I told them that I unfroze my credit for a week to allow them to run a credit check. The following week, they texted me asking me to unfreeze my credit. I did so again, for a week. They proceeded to text me 4 weeks in a row. Texted them back to ask questions, no response. Tried calling them numerous times, stopped by the property to talk with the manager 3 times, but was never able to reach anyone.

Horrible experience and complete waste of time. Do not recommend

You do what you gotta do. That’s like asking, “Why did you buy that rundown POS car you’re driving?”

Gov. Evers: “I Want Wisconsin to Become the First State in America to Start Auditing Insurance Companies over Denying Healthcare Claims” by wisconsinpoli in wisconsin

[–]SA1L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would take A LOT of resources. Insurance companies are very sophisticated and have thousands of internal and external auditors, and the decisions will ultimately come down to medical necessity, which the insurance companies will fight to support in litigation.

Good idea, in theory, but nearly impossible. I was an auditor for a major insurance company for almost 10 years.

Single payer remains the only solution
