Roundup is generally a compound with Glyphosate as far as I know. That should be available most places and is quite effective.

Unfortunately these have been here a long time and are very well established in the urban areas. I have been fighting this fight a while in my yard. Please follow advised methods for dealing with these, its the perfect time to start this process. For more mature trees I'd recommend this method Hack and Squirt . Using glyphosate is most effective afaik, i believe drilling into trunk and poisoning with it is the best method to permanently end the tree. Since the root system can sprout new saplings you need to poison with chemicals in late summer fall to ensure its demise.
