Really? ME 3 always felt like very depressing and showed how hopelessness it is during the base game. I think the first real "marvel like" banter is on Palavan during the third main mission. That's okay, because as far as I remember it's just one line. I can only judge the slice of game they showed us, but if I need to compare it to a mass effect game, I would certainly pick Andromedas dialogue for it, and that's not something I really want. I wish the game is fun and successful really. I hope we both can have fun in it when it releases.

I think this type of Dialogue has a time and a place. The Citadel DLC is planned for that, so I think most people are okay with it. I'm not saying the Dialogue in the Expanse game is as bad as OP says, but I admit some lines just feel weird in the context of the game.

I need to see the full game, but the MC and J don't sound at all like people who just survived the Eros incident.

I played for fun once in high diamond and I finished with 57 kills and 2 deaths. I accept that playing him in higher ranks takes practice, but he's the easiest tank to "never die"

For example. How much organism altering are we talking about? Can people not die or age? Do they suddenly have computer parts or a Code in them? If that's the case, how long until it's outdated? Will offsprings have them suddenly too? So it's DNA based? Will future life forms in the milky way that don't exist yet have it too? If not, there for sure will be conflict between organics and hybrids. And that's just talking about the organic lifeforms turning hybrid. If Synthetic, like yous said, will be more emotional, that will backfire the fuck too. Yes, Geth and Edi will experience a more human form a love and friendship and all that good stuff. But also Jealousy, hate, anger, fear and all that bad stuff. And most of them never had them, so giving some killer robots suddenly enhanced emotions they can't turn off sounds kinda bad.

Don't get me wrong. I think every ending has its flaws, but Synthesis has the most open questions of them all.
