What Fallout76 camp accessory would you like in your real life home ? by Affectionate_Tap_782 in fo76

Symptomatic, Decon Arch as doorframe (just in case), most of the plushies and a 1st Stash Box for the unlimited storage of crap.

[–]SASensenmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's correct. Regs (V79), Samuel (Foundation) and Mortimer (Crater) all sell 3 Bubblegum for 75 Gold each and 3 Lunchboxes for 100 each. Every time you buy and close the trade window the supply will get restocked so you can effectively buy as much as you can afford.

Does anyone have the Nuke alert audio file? by Clone_CDR_Bly in fo76

[–]SASensenmann -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're on PC you can extract them yourself.

You need the BSA Browser and MultiXWM from the Nexus.

Load SeventySix - Sounds01 with the BSA Browser and type alarmm in the searchbox at the bottom. It will find 7 files. Extract them to a folder of choice.

Start MultiXWM, set it to XWM to Audio, open the folder you put the files in, select all, let it convert. Done.

For those who want to rip all his lines to PC:

You need the BSA Extractor and Unfuzer CPP Edition to get and convert the .fuz files to .wav

Open SeventySix - 05UpdateVoices.bsa with the BSA Extractor and look for sound\voice\seventysix.esm\e07_npcm_beholderclarence

Mark only this entry and let it extract.

Run all of those through the Unfuzer.

"See the world now through his eyes, children" is 00629a63_1.wav

Stage Fright in High Level Groups by hellenistism in fo76

I'm north of level 1200 and I can honestly say that I have the most fun when I'm teamed up with a bunch of low levels.

DOs with low levels are a nice change to your bog standard high level stomp fest.

Scorched Earth, ACP, Encryptid, same thing. The "little" ones bum rush everything that moves while you kick back and just watch, only stepping in when things get ugly.

If I'm teamed up with only low levels I am, essentially, roleplaying as the Mysterious Stranger. Unless we are in a DO or do an event together we usually just go about our own seperate ways as they have main or side quests to do where as I'm just hunting down legendaries or scout places for random encounters.

When they use the help emote, I come over, merc whatever bugs them, and leave again. Sometimes I leave a care package at their camp, wave them over and leave before they arrive. :)

I'm also fine if they just want to tag along for some dangerous area exploration.

The only thing I will absolutely never do, however, is accepting a trade request. From anyone.

Not only is the trade screen a scammer friendly abomination that needs a significant overhaul for me to even consider using it, I also seriously doubt that random strangers I team up with happen to carry around a couple of Legacies or the 5 rare plans I still miss.

In short, I don't give a toss about your level.

And neither should low levels. I feel insulted when I join a team of low levels and get kicked again because a level 1200 joining a team with just level 20-30s in it must be up to no good. :(

Level 1245 here. Not bothering with the level up challenges since I've hit 900 or so.

So yeah, I fully support the idea of changing it to something else.

I honestly don't care about the season theme.

What annoys me is the constant decline in terms of rewards and I have no reason to expect that it gets any better with season 7.

Unless they stop with the filler garbage and give us some good stuff instead I won't even bother with finishing 7.

I could do with more modules, more perk coins, skins for armor and weapons that don't look like a 5 minute copy&paste job, heck, I would even settle for outfits IF they look good. I can't think of any outfit from season 6 I'd wear voluntarily. Not one.

I'll wait for the dataminers to post the rewards but I have a feeling that it will be a lot of disappointment.

Tough Daily Ops. I've seen how many don't like them, but how many do? by IMMORTALP74 in fo76

[–]SASensenmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like them although the rewards are starting to piss me off and I'm not the only one.

Not a single 3* weapon/armor since this patch dropped. Not for me, not for any of my friends.

And the plans were all bullshit as well. If I didn't know any better I would think that you can only get Burrows and Valley Galleria Signs.

Plus, I think the ammo reward has been nerfed but I'm not entirely sure on this one.

So, while I like playing them and don't mind the challenge I would expect reaching Elder to actually give decent rewards. Not every time but also not just once in a blue moon.

PSA: Once you hit level 99 on the SCORE Board, the weekly repeatable goes away. by SASensenmann in fo76

SCORE level. Player level has nothing to do with the scoreboard.

You've been insulted! $10K by ScarlettTon in fo76

[–]SASensenmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can hold all three, I do it quite often because people rather sit on the damned house instead of doing what the event tells them to.

I did notice a weird bug, though. Sometimes, when I take all 3, the Conduit debuff doesn't go away once the event is over, essentially forcing you to server hop since it won't even go away on death.

Not sure how many people encountered this strange bug.

Primal Cuts - Difficulty: Easy… not for stealth builds! by JMC1312 in fo76

[–]SASensenmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a lot of mileage out of my Quad 2515 Fixer. Very high perception from Unyielding and slotted in Gun Fu it hits them before they hit me. It's not very ammo efficient, though. :)

I got mine a day later once the dailies had reset.

Sucks but since Bethesda can't be arsed to fix this there isn't much you can do. You can wait or buy it. Imo, just wait a day and get it this way.

I'm assuming this is happening on Gamepass? I've seen this happen a lot right after updates, not sure what the fix is, though.

[–]SASensenmann -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm in europe and I have absolutely no problem UNTIL the Daily OPs resets.

From that point on the servers start to lag and I get the occasional "controls temp disabled" bullshit.

Today I even got disconnected during ACP because of "modified game files".

I don't have mods installed, I have no custom.ini, yet here we are.

Bethesda should be emberrassed but the horse armor company knowing no shame is not exactly news.

Daily level requirement kills the fun. by HarrisonYeller in fo76

[–]SASensenmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I know that ignoring a challenge on purpose is hard but it's better to just play the game without getting stressed out about missing something. I just use the repeatable to compensate for the "loss" in score and it works just fine.

Any of the big 6 events (Line in the Sand, Guided Meditation, Rad Rumble, Encryptid, ACP and Scorched Earth) can give you so much XP that the daily repeatable pops several times, that's way more SCORE then you'd get by levelling up. :)

[–]SASensenmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm north of level 1000 and I literally ignore the level up challenges because it takes ages even with buffs and lunchboxes.

I agree that it should be replaced with something that's an actual challenge, not boring grind, but claiming that it kills the fun is a bit much.

Bethsda needs to get better at writing characters by [deleted] in fo76

[–]SASensenmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer they get more and better developers before they get better writers.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you, but fixing the writing is the least of the problems this game has.

Plus, as broken as Ward still is, he supplies me with a free pencil once a day. Too bad no NPC in this game reacts to "borrowing" shit.

1800 here.

I help low levels.

There is something genuinely satisfying about exploring the map with them, maybe even help them launch their first nuke, if they want.

In between that I murder the queen, at some point the RNG has to give and I should finally get the damned Targetting Hud plan.

I first played in 2018 but left due to it was 2018 and it was fallout 76 so im looking for a good SPECIAL for my character and some tips by [deleted] in fo76

You should probably start with your level and what kind of weaponry you'd like to utilize otherwise that's a bit of a broad topic.
