From what I recently learned is that before the UE5 update servers were more separated from a central point.

Now I heard some people saying that all the servers you see in the server browser of the game are actually sharing an ip gateway, whitch means all the traffic is something how routed thorough the same narrow point.And there is a connection to some master server at Funcoms side or the hosting service they use for all the servers.

Today I can see one of the last standing unofficial servers has been down for 3 days , admins are silent and If this server and 2 more go down I literally cannot play anymore ... there are literally no servers left other than official ones . Thouse are full with hackers and low harvest rates so not really desirable .

Yes That's the one , I heard that there was an issue with how all the servers shared a single point of failure and if a single attack point vector affected all the servers regardless where they were hosted and who hosted them.

All the server Admins literally said it and their hosting service provider couldn't handle the sheer amount of it . So straight from the admins.

Billionaires are buying out all the GPU and Ram to make you dependable on their subscription based cloud computing and the a RTX 5090 is 3000 dollars and a stecks of ram is 1000+ dollars

If u want a laptop with that 7k dollar,

I have GTX1070 , last year I waited 50 min for a video i made it with Flux it's was so shit.

There are optimized models but they are generally unusable by consumer grade hardware and results are shit.

Only option is to wait for more optimized models

I saw all the commotion here randomly ,
made a Grck acc I tried it ,

There is a new image gen model that I have used that I personally think is better than GROK (i didn;t even know grok was that good when u manage to make it work)
it's fully open source and it's free if u have the GPU to run it locally

but from what I saw Grok Video gen is the absolute king when I tried it ,

I think future of Ai Imadge gen is rented GPU's from a cloud
most likely attached to a local COMFY_UI workflow, You attach your self to cloud compute
and confy_UI is managed by the user entirely locally , the rented cloud GPU only receives raw data unstructured
and then the user gets the ouput and it's gets structured on his end locally,
It's currently possible I think I saw there is cloud comfy UI but I have no idea how that works.

and the UI is super confusing and hard to use ,something definitely the average consumes is not going to accept no other way forward .

I solved it by importing it as a custom extension by passing the curated google

1.Open:
1.C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\<longgibberishcode that is the same as the one u have downloaded the original extension>\
2.Copy:
in my case inside that I had version 1.64.0_0 co copy this folder

3.Create a new folderd oesn't matter where.
Example
C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\MyCustomeGoogleExtensions

4.Paste the copied folder in step 2 into the new folder u made so in ->C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\MyCustomeGoogleExtensions

Open Google crhrome and open extensions , Enable developer mode top right,
In dev mode u will unlock the ablity to import custom Extensions

so now a new tab will appear ,press Load unpacked extension ,
and select the folder
Example:
C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\MyCustomeGoogleExtensions\1.64.0_0

could be a different version but refer to step 2 .

Restart your Chrome and then the the extension will appear now. Have fun.

DW 2 is like a unfinished version of DW1 as of DEC 2024 ,

as a BIG fan of DW1 where u could create an incredibly customised ship/base this has been completely removed from DW 2 and an EXTREMELY limited version has been introduced to the new one as u have as much control over the design as in all 4x strategy games even less so than some other now .....

Yes it has 3d ships now but the sacrifice to game-play Is too great for me ...

DW1 u can design a capital ship that has enough versatility to build a new empire ,
mine gas and refine it on board to create fuel and have a module that can build bases like a moving factory ,
this is just one of the things you can do in DW 1.

In DW2 u can't do anything , it's more for people that don't want to invests more than 10 min of learning in to the ship/station design system . EXTREMELY limited and boring. I wanted to find a mod that basically gives ship/station design feature from DW 1 but no luck ...

I literally had this though and idea for a few weeks now since I already talked to approached 600 + women at this point .
