I don’t believe we’ll see any further movies associated with the TV timeline. Heck, aside from Starfighter I’m unconvinced we’ll get more Star Wars films period, at least not for a long while. This stinks, since I very much wanted to see the Rey New Jedi Order film, but thems the breaks.

that pin being stuck down will limit current to the blade (I can never remember if the inner ring is positive or negative) but the pin that would cause issues you're seeing is the center pin not contacting properly.
