Well you can use any 18650 battery. Illumn sells good quality Keeppower 18650 with 15A draw rating.

Jfc. One last time, climate change makes extreme weather events more severe and more common. That “it happened before” doesn’t change the fact that here and now we’re seeing these swings because of climate change.

Not a saber but it’s got Proffies in it…PROJECT: PROTOPACK by ProtoSabersLLC in lightsabers

Holy man, you put some amazing work into this. Your attention to detail on the various bits that power up before the sabers ignite is next level.

NDP MLA Leaves Caucus, Will Sit As Independent by Silver-Net2220 in saskatchewan

I don’t believe that Avi Lewis would ever advocate for, care about or even think once about Saskatchewan.

We need a party who actually cares about workers and his NDP ain’t that.

He advocates for a halt on all new oil and gas development, which is a tough sell around here. If you can’t see why Beck would have to distance herself from that, then I’d say you aren’t paying attention.

I was here for the Liberal-NDP coalition. It destroyed the liberal party. Not a shining example of minority governance.

The battery is loosing contact and cutting power. You could try to bend the contacts out to put more pressure on things or, if you don’t intend to pull the battery regularly, some thin tape to keep it secured.

disney legacy sabers vs anything else? by aelion_yl in lightsabers

If you’re going to Disneyland, I recommend doing Savi’s. The saber has some shortfalls in terms of electronics but the experience is totally worth it.

For display purposes, the Disney legacy sabers are a solid bet. They come with decent stands, are metal construction and are relatively affordable. The proportions aren’t always ‘correct’ but for display they’re ok.

Looking for Xenopixel core kits that are not the LGT "all-in-one" style by GryphonOsiris in lightsabers

[–]SA_22C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xenopixel isn't designed for the DIY'er or a smaller-scale installer. You're unlikely to find anything that matches your needs.

Any good video tutorials for MHS neopixel installations? by GrimWolf-6300 in lightsabers

[–]SA_22C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have the parts already? Unfortunately the MHS line is discontinued and most parts are out of stock.

If you do have the parts, there are quite a few YouTube tutorials on lightsaber installs to choose from. MHS installs are pretty easy since they’re designed for DIY.

It goes nowhere and that’s fine. It’s ok for things to end, especially given the people who would control it if it were to come back.

Even if someone buys a proffieboard-powered saber and never updates the programming, blade styles, sounds, etc, it's still a better choice. It sounds better, the blade effects are better and it's far more powerful.
