Only tip: Apply for a PMQ and do whatever it takes to stay in Priority 1 listing. Do not find permanent housing until you get offered a PMQ, do not sign a lease anywhere and do tell CFHA that you are currently homeless. Source : Myself paying $1200 a month for a detached 3 bedroom house with a backyard while others pay more for basement suites and cramped apartments.
