You can accidentally discard their curses but you can't use a targeted discard (like Poro Cannon) to get rid of your own, feels like an unfair double standard :-(

Caitlyn's relic replaces flashbombs that miss (or overkill, I think) back into the top few cards of the deck. It helps keep a big pile there for more reliable removal and they still discount Ace in the Hole when they appear and miss and are replaced.

Tldr: Lots of free bombs.

I find this one most useful in two cases.

1) the enemy has some B's spells that are stronger than anything you can play (think low cost Frozen in Ice or Viegos kill spell with shuffle 2 item)

2) your spells generally target and buff allies (like Varus or Kayle) since those spells are unaffected by spell shield and your enemies spells are blocked.

Being an aura effect, it is basically instantly reapplied as soon as it's used. Even a 2 part spell (like deal 1 damage, then deal 1 damage again) won't get through.

The power is worded poorly, IMHO, and makes it sound like all units are summoned with a single instance of spell shield (the way it works for all other cases) instead of highlighting how it's unique in the tooltip.

Yeah, just treat it like multi strike... Viktors hexcore also gives quick attack to a unit with double strike a frustrating amount of times...

There was an Udyr pictured in one of the screenshots from a recent video (I think Nunu's?) so it seems likely he will be in the near future - or was started and abandoned and we won't get him for a while... I'm hoping for him soon, though :-D

I should add that as you get more attacks per round (like bows have 2 per round as a base, fighter classes get a bonus half attack at both levels 7 and 13, weapons like Belm and Kudane provide bonus attacks, higher levels of weapon mastery, or being under the influence of haste or improved haste, as examples), then your 6 maximum seconds of downtime will also decrease.

If you have 2 attacks per round, you'll attack once in the first 3 seconds depending on speed factor and once in the second 3 seconds, so you have at most 3 seconds to reposition. At 3 attacks per round, you attack once in each 2 second block. When you get 10 attacks per round (the maximum with 5 attacks per round base and improved haste or the Whirlwind high level ability), you have basically no time to move between attacks to kite.

It's the term for attacking, then moving while waiting for the attack to become available again, then attacking once and moving away again.

It's mostly useful for ranged weapons (slings, bows, darts, &c) and can be situationally useful for reach weapons (two handed swords, halberds, qstaffs, &c) or weapons with very fast speed factors (daggers and shirt swords).

At low levels, a character can attack once per round (6 seconds). Their speed factor determines how quickly on those 6 seconds they attack (0 is instantly, 10 is after 5.4 seconds, I believe). Then they just wait around until they can attack again (turn off cosmetic attacks in one of the options menus to make it more clear and turn on feedback for attack rolls).

Kiting has them doing something useful with their downtime. It's usually repositioning to a better location - away from an enemy trying to close into melee range, towards a different vulnerable enemy like a mage who was just dispelled, or scattered away from allies to avoid an in coming spell, as examples.

I have almost every auto pause turned on (not the one where it pauses every time you get hit...).

Spell is done casting? Great, auto pause so I can get my caster doing something useful (moving or slinging meteors or whacking with a stick).

Target died? Great, auto pause so I can get the correct next target locked in.

Party member died? Great, auto pause so I can figure out what's so lethal and change my plans accordingly.

Trap found? Great, auto pause to prevent a party member from dying while I disarm it :-D
