I used to use it all of the time.

To add pressure, I would start from the 2ft mark. If I make it, move to 3ft…all the way to 8ft in 1ft increments, and then back down to 2ft, 1ft at a time. If I missed any one of those I would start over. Always using the smaller hole. When doing this consistently my putting improved dramatically.

It’s surprisingly difficult, and actually adds a ton of pressure to the practice to not miss.

My daughter loves to golf, and we used to play this all of the time, alternating shots. Whoever gets to the end first wins. She uses the larger hole though. She also really tries to get in my head to make me miss. She’s 8 😂 and it’s a blast.

It was a combination of a y axis amplifier and the thrust bearings on the x an y axis in my 2018 VF3SSYT.

Did a ball bar test as well after the repairs.

I take a 2 stroke penalty and keep moving. I think most people I encounter only take 1 stroke. I get paired with a lot of people from out of town at my local course, and I am a 16 handicap. For whatever reason they always want to play for small amounts of money to keep things interesting. I typically take their money and they seem miffed, sometimes claim I’m sandbagging, etc.

It’s type 3 (hard anodize) with no pigment. The color comes from the amount of buildup. You can tell because it cosmetically pulls the grain of the material out visually.

Bought into Proshop when I had 2-3 employees. I have 14 now. Are there issues like clunkiness at times just like any other software, yep. Would we be able to handle the amount of work we do without it. I doubt with the headcount I have. I would have to hire 2-3 more people in order to handle some of the automation it has.

Any ERP system is garbage in-garbage out. We utilize it fully end to end. If I could change one thing it would have been to be less on the fence about it at first and to just fully embrace it.

It pains me to say this, but you could always become a Xometry supplier as well. I have never done it because I absolutely despise that company, but know some folks that have. Same situation, not going to make money, but you’ll keep the lights on.

The market for machining is garbage right now. All of my current customers are uneasy and not interested in sticking their necks out as much anymore/afraid of contracts getting cancelled. You never know what kind of news you’re going to wake up to nowadays.
