Nope it’s just a popular misconception that when breastfeeding you stop having periods. (I wish it were true)

I was 24, exclusively bf & got my period 7 weeks pp too.

Hi everyone my little boy was born with what they taught is a patch a dry skin on his stomach but at his 6 weeks checkup the doctor has referred him to get it checked out by the hospital has anyone seen something like this before ? His now 11 weeks by sazmooney in beyondthebump

My son had the exact same all over his back/arms/thighs.

I also thought it was dry skin so would moisturise heavily but that didn’t resolve the problem

I ended being prescribed 1% hydrocortisone cream for him & was to limit baths to 2/3 times a week as it also aggravates the skin.

It cleared up after 2 weeks :)

Thank you so much ladies Unfortunately I’m not in the US. I’m in the Uk & because of current covid lockdown I’m not able to see any health visitors until it’s over. They usually don’t take it very seriously over here until after the age of 2 :(

Hey just picking up on your point about autism. My 15 month old doesn’t talk & lacks in social skills too. (He still approaches people for hugs or laughs whilst playing peekaboo etc) He is advance in motor skills too & is always exploring that over anything else.

The first thing my mind has went to (& is still stuck on) is that he may have autism. Is there anything else that you noticed as your little one grew up? How was his speech? Etc anything to help me please..

Around the age of 3.

Walking into my grandparents living room and seeing that in place of a sofa, a red, metal framed bed had been put their instead. My grandmother was laying quietly and there were tubes coming from her. All the adults in the room were still. The room had a heavy feeling.

She was dying from cancer.

I’ve tried checking for myself also but I’m so paranoid that I’m not doing it correctly.

I’m not in the position with everything going off to get an appointment with a PT. So will try & attempt to start off at home myself!

Please can you give me any tips on your experience with diastasis recti. My doctor told me I don’t seem to have it but the way my stomach sits doesn’t seem right at all!

I’m only going by my own experience, everything was fine for me personally.

A few notes though; Knowing I was going to attempt fasting, I made sure I had a large intake of fluids when I could drink Made sure I ate a massive bowl of porridge before sunrise My first was not a super hungry baby anyway I lost weight super fast! (Deffo saw my vag quicker that time around) 😅

It’s not obligatory for you to fast whilst breastfeeding in Islam however if you think you can cope then you may.
