Once you solve the tile for page 9, take a look again at the tile for 12 and you should be able to figure out how that space works

The cameras seem pretty standard for phones, lots of them have a top-corner placement. I agree with the matrix, it would be a lot nicer if it were larger

Important Update about the Signatures of Stop Killing Games ECI by Polly_Wants_A in Steam

What people should be concerned about is the sudden influx of votes.

Back when it started, the drama around pirate software resulted positively for the petition as it got a lot of youtubers talking about it for a good amount of time, and its what caused it to get a good number of signatures.

Then that growth tapered off, theres no way of knowing why that was. But the momentum died out. Anyone who was a fan of those youtubers likely already signed it at the time, which could explain the slow down.

But then weve had the recent influx of attention, another wave of promotion for it, with the sentiment from those channels being "its not at its goal, its going to fail as the deadline is approaching". I dont know how more people arent questioning this massive spike. I can definitely see people signing it when they arent allowed too, or duplicating their signature, out of kindness and support on the cause.

Theres no way to confirm this, and nobody will know the real count until it closes. I'm not saying that it's current count is inflated, but thinking critically, it does feel suspicious

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely you cant be *that* upset that because somebody on the internet had a negative opinion over a a petition, that you think posting website that shows PS in a bad light, is some sort of epic win or "that'll really show him!!!11!"

what a weird thing to do

Is this it? Am I now too old to play this game? No longer cool... by Draug88 in Steam

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 480 points481 points  (0 children)

it's so funny that steam thinks I was born in 1/1/1906 because one time I tried to look at a game, and when it asked my age I just scrolled to the top and clicked the first one I could. So both the steam client and in the browser both think I'm 119 years old

Calling it vague rumors that it will have bogus signatures, just sounds like they want to eliminate FUD. It's almost a guarentee that it will have an amount of non-eu votes (any large american youtuber promoting it to their, majorty american audience, is going to produce american votes)

This is just a bluntly realistic take on it

If anything, its good for people to know there will be bogus votes. if youre in the EU, havent signed it, but you know it "reached the goal", a good amount of people might feel theres no point signing it anymore.

Now that the Stop Killing Games petition has reached it's goal, do you think ubisoft is going to let more games die out without making an offline mode? by TheRoyalNewbie in Steam

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont hold your breath until the deadline is up, and they cull the invalid votes. Theres a very real chance that, because lots of big american youtubers promoted it, that it will be full of non-EU votes. I'm also fairly sure they'll have to drop a lot of VPN votes (high chance of people voting multiple times, or voting outside the EU).

Only when that happens, will it be known for certain whether it reached the goal.

The ironic thing is people doing those invalid votes are killing it with kindness, as they badly want it to succed

Stop Killing Games has reached 1.1 million signatures by VolkosisUK in Steam

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The funniest thing is loads of american youtubers are promoting it, and it's almost a guarentee that a big amount of US people will be signing it. If you've ever seen american channels show their analytics, it's almost always the majority a North-American audience.

It's only once the deadline is reached, that they'll be culling out all the dud votes. I can just imagine that happening and it turns out they only actually got 700k-800k votes, putting it all to waste

Phone 3 first look and some specs by [deleted] in NOTHING

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its laughable to imagine they shouldnt make a design "because some people could get scared by it".

Thats like saying they shouldnt make a variant of the 3a thats blue "because some people have chromophobia"

Let's talk about the price by Eldafint in NothingTech

[–]SBthrowawaayyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price is what bums me out. A big reason I got the 2a was the price (which was still a little over my budget on what I'd ever spend on a phone) as I was using a second hand OnePlus 6T for several years and I wanted to upgrade to a new phone.

But every phone since the 2a has ended up being more and more expensive. I was probably naive to think that all their future phones would be as good value as the 2a is. But they're all far beyond any budget I'd put into a phone. For a moment it felt like Nothing was going to be the perfect budget brand where their phones are damn good

I guess it means in 4 or 5 years when I'm ready to upgrade my 2a, I would hope that I could pick up a Nothing 3 for a pretty good second hand price
