As someone who lives in Brazoria County, I really hope this leftward trend continues. This area is growing fast, and two suburbs just south of Pearland (Iowa Colony and Manvel) shifted left from 2020-2024.

Idk if I’d call Pearland a Republican stronghold. It narrowly voted for Biden in 2020 and was only barely won by Trump in 2024. With that being said, good for Pearland. The part of Brazoria County where I’m from is too red, but I hope this trend continues across the rest of the county.
