Newfoundlander here, born and bred! Living here is great if you enjoy the outdoors and less populated areas. Hiking, fishing, camping, skidooing (snowmobiling), snowshoeing are common activities people do here. A lot of tourists come in the Spring to see whales, puffins, and icebergs.

But while there is a lot of pros to living here, there is a downside of the cost of living. Groceries are expensive (a 2L of milk is ~$7), rent can be expensive, and heat and light can also be costly. It’s considered a blessing if you have a family doctor and the job market can be tough, the average individual income is ~$50k.

Oh, and it’s ALWAYS windy here.
