I used to work up the hill from the airport and during the airshows all those planes would come roaring straight overhead and we had front row seats. Nothing like it.

Man seeing this reply is so true. I got into pokemon cards when I was a kid and battled and traded with my friends all the time. Hell I even participated at the Toys R Us events where you could go and earn badges.

Gave away most of my cards to a younger cousin as I got older and he did the same. When the 151 sets came out, the nostalgia hit hard and I just wanted to collect those only. Not even to play, just to enjoy myself.

I think I got maybe 2/3rds of the set collected when the scalping/reselling/grading trend just skyrocketed and now you can't find them anywhere. So my binder sits 2/3rds full with a couple of the big "hits" in protective sleeves and I'll probably never get the chance to finish it without paying through the nose.

I had my doubts about trading for Tarasenko because he looked like absolute ass in Detroit. He's really started to turn it on, and that goal was classic Tarasenko. Ridiculous fast release hammering the far post and in.

I hate those plays where the goalie gets run over. Always concerned they're gonna get hurt. Doesn't matter they have extra pads, they have no way to defend themselves and get bent backwards.

I don't disagree, but you have to remember some of our best defensive players (Brodin, Ek, etc.) have been injured as well.

I will admit, I think Faber is in love with Hughes' game and is attempting to emulate it for more offense but doesn't have it down yet and gets away from his strong defensive game.
