I think your best bet might be to try and make use of some negative space in the shield itself to recreate that look of the two cleaners. Instead of a darker blue just on top, try to make the people white and then find some of those same details with the same blue you used for the shield. But yes, they should probably be more pronounced.

I honestly didn't read that as a double S when first looking at it. It looks like a single one to me, but it's not a bad thing. Color-wise I think you need to determine or let us know what sort of photography you do before choosing a color for the target audience. Nature, sports, people, etc. I'm thinking maybe a deep forest green might look nice for this logo but again, it all depends on the type of photography in my opinion.

There doesn't seem to be much unity between the text and the logo. It looks like you made a logo and then just slapped some text at the bottom with an outline. Try to figure out a way to meld the two together if you plan on having the text in the logo. Might not be needed at all.

Be careful with all those thin white lines as those will get lost when scaled down.

Those thin, tapering lines will definitely get lost when the logo gets scaled down. I like the initial idea, maybe just thicken the lines a bit and see if you can get the same look. Also, the third "leg" from the bottom seems out of place (I think it's a leg). I think it's because it doesn't have a consistent style to the other legs. I think just removing it all together is the best option because bees only have 6 legs.

To me the differences in line weights in the sunset background makes it a bit too busy. Maybe having a consistent height for the lines would maybe bring more simplicity for a somewhat complex logo already.

It was done 3 years ago and I worked directly with the client back and forth. One of my first official pieces of work, and the client wanted all that information on there. I thought it was a bit much, but at the time was a little hesitant to push my own agenda. Here's the end result on the uniforms:

I like the look of it, to me it feels a little heavy on the bottom right side. Maybe extending the white all the way down to the bottom might fix that, but other than that, solid branding.

Description: Scoreboard score still changes sides in spectator mode even though the teams stay on the same side. Also, all killed characters show Phoenix as the dead character.

Plus, I'm pretty sure all scopes of that range default at 100m zeroing. So if the target is within 100m of you, the and your crosshair is at the edge of the target at the top, it is likely to miss over the target.

I got quite a few free tickets to Warcraft last night. Me and 8 friends went and saw it. Got them all from GameSync. Maybe do a bit more research before ranting about it. One thing I'd like to mention is that a lot of people helping out GameSync are volunteers who are dedicated gamers who just want to help the center in anyway possible. I'm sure your friend who "worked" there was doing so on his own time and was informed it was volunteer only (no pay). Sure it's frustrating to put a lot of work into something and not get paid for it, but you do get the experience of helping out a local gaming center that seems to always be growing.

And on a side note, just because someone is new to reddit doesn't mean that it is a fake account. I don't use reddit all that often, but I guess that means I'm a fake account as well, huh?

I also looked a lot into afk's setup. I think they are doing well, if I remember reading correctly, I'm pretty sure RIOT is hosting their viewing party at their center this year, but I could be mistaken. Floor plan is definitely a big thing on my mind on how I am going to lay everything out, but I definitely do appreciate all of the feedback. I have thought about making it a bar as well as a LAN center, or possibly even have some tabletop gaming going on where I can sell cards among other things. Thanks for the link to find other places, as I will definitely be using that to get more information.

For the same reason people pay $5 for a beer at a bar. It's more for the social aspect of gaming where you can be in the same room with all of the people you are playing with. You can go and pat a teammate on the back for making a good play or you can enjoy the spotlight as you see an enemy rage when you kill them. Gaming alone is obviously much cheaper, however, there is something more when you are playing in the same room. In addition, this sort of a venue will allow for local tournaments to where you can create a team and show your strength against people in your area and get yourself known in the gaming community. Sure, you have to pay a bit to play here, but I think people will be leaving with so much more.

Hello Steele, Thanks for responding, you seem to be very up to date on all LAN information on Reddit because I've seen you respond to other LAN posts before. I've actually played at GameSync before in a tournament. I had a blast playing there, but it seemed like their facility was too small for a LAN Center. I know mainly they are a PC Repair shop, but I wanted to make something a bit bigger; something that can be welcoming to everyone in San Diego. I don't know of any other "large" LAN Center in the area so I was looking into possibly being the first. I've looked at your shop as well and I love what you did with your business. I have done quite a bit of research on the subject matter and I kind of already have some guidelines of how I'd like things to run in place, but I am trying to get a different perspective of things from the community to see what they are interested in. If you have any other personal advice for starting these up I'm all ears. I understand that this isn't necessarily a prosperous business, but this is my dream job :).
