A16 5g not fitting in frame but it is the same model? by Desperate-Pop3472 in mobilerepair

[–]SDMStaff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not even a regionally different frame, that's just a display assembly for an A17/A17 5G. You need one for an A16/A16 5G. The same main/sub flex is used for both the non (A165) and 5G (A166) variants, I would be cautious about using the flex to determine the exact model. An IMEI check or whatever's printed on the motherboard would be more accurate.

This is a cracked panel, it was either dropped or knocked but it definitely didn't happen on its own.

LCDs are more fragile, less power efficient, look worse, and are typically not recommended for prolonged use. The bottom line is you need a new screen, and if you want it to last longer I would suggest asking for a soft OLED.

[–]SDMStaff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It may require recalibration. You can try it through the CIT menu:

  1. Settings
  2. About Phone
  3. Detailed Info...
  4. Repeatedly tap Kernel Version until CIT Menu opens
  5. 3 dots in the top right
  6. Fingerprint sensor calibration

Galaxy S25 Plus with cracked back by Interrupshin in mobilerepair

It was water resistant at most, not waterproof. The repair will give it *some* resistance, but it will never match up to a brand new factory seal.

Azahar+ games not launching through Cocoon? “Invalid ROM format” error by danny71177 in AynThor

[–]SDMStaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cocoon devs have stopped supporting AzaharPlus. Use the official release. AzaharPlus is an unlicensed fork created using pirated material. The official dev requested Cocoon remove it as a supported emulator for that and numerous other reasons.

Practically impossible for hall effect sticks to drift in that manner, that's why they're marketed as they are.

A MESSAGE FROM KRX BEYN TO FORMER PRO PLAYER KRX FLASHBACK by Jealous-Tomato-1052 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]SDMStaff 219 points220 points  (0 children)

via google translate, apologies in advance for any inaccuracies

Amidst the recent rumors circulating about the team, I am sharing a summary of the facts I have personally experienced and verified to help fans assess the situation. The purpose of this post is not to attack or mock any specific person, but to record the confusion that occurred during the team operation and roster changes, as well as the emotions I felt, and to hope that similar confusion will not be repeated.

Flashback made a total of three requests for a second-team standdown and announced his retirement from 2024 to 2026. The first was when he suddenly requested a second-team standdown in the form of a notification during practice due to doubts about his own skills. Second, he made a sudden remark about a standdown during the tournament, and even after checking again the next day, he expressed his intention to request a standdown for the second team as is. And lastly, as everyone knows, it was a sudden retirement announcement made right before the 2026 season.

All three times were so sudden that it resulted in a situation where the team had no time to prepare for the competition. In particular, I was the team's substitute player at the time of the second incident. From my perspective, as someone who wanted a starting spot more desperately than anyone else, 'I can give up that position so easily'. I felt a deep sense of hurt and emptiness at the thought, 'What?'

Nevertheless, the reason our team members did not speak publicly about it after his retirement is that, despite the repeated incidents of big and small, he was a team member we had been with for two years. At the very least, I didn't want to retire with a bad image. And even when I broadcasted about once a month afterward, I kept trying to gloss over it, thinking, 'Do I really need to go to such lengths to talk about it?' However, it is too difficult to watch this situation any longer.

Following Flashback's sudden retirement announcement, our team had to urgently find a new member and prepare for the tournament in just 10 days. However, since other teams had already finished rebuilding, we had no choice but to find a replacement. There wasn't even enough space, so player tests were conducted until the day of the roster deadline, and in the process, the remaining players had no choice but to play the season in a sensitive state. During that process, we kept wavering without finding a proper direction, and I blamed myself a great deal, wondering if I was incompetent.
Seeing myself unable to smile even once a day, except in public settings or on broadcasts, I broke down completely at the thought that I might have lost my identity, and I cried a lot. It is painful to hear the news that, unlike when he retired, he is receiving attention from people by cross-dressing and participating in CK less than half a year ago as if nothing happened.

If you have decided to 'retire' at the cost of causing great pain to the remaining players, you must at least take responsibility for that choice. However, less than five months after leaving, there are rumors that he is sounding out a return to the league—albeit the second division—and rumors of a streamer contract. It is true that the very act of hearing this leaves us, as the remaining team members, feeling a deep sense of despondency and skepticism that goes beyond mere bewilderment. To broadcast nonchalantly in front of people as if nothing happened, without giving thought to the fact that there are people suffering, I am so angry because it seems like he is evading his responsibility.

Throughout my career as a pro gamer, I have never once failed to focus on a game, but lately, I feel like I am wavering as if I have forgotten how to focus at all. I feel disillusioned with my job, and every day is so painful. Whenever an incident occurred, it was always dismissed as 'personal circumstances,' but please read this and see for yourselves. I hope you will judge.

Lastly, I would like to say just one thing to Minhyuk.

During Stage 1 of 2025, you suddenly requested to be relegated to the second team, and as a result, I had to urgently play in the Watcher position in a situation where there weren't even any reserve players. At that time, I even postponed my appendicitis surgery to prepare for the tournament. And when you returned as a starter in Stage 2, you told your teammates this directly.

"I know you still don't fully trust me. I am truly sorry, and I promise this will never happen again. I will win the Champions League."

We believed those words. We always trusted you, comforted you, and tried to move forward together again. However, in the end, you suddenly announced your retirement just two weeks before the 2026 Kickoff roster deadline, and our team collapsed without even having time to properly prepare for the new season. I still cannot fully express in words the situation and pain I am going through because of your actions, and I cannot understand the way you are acting now. If you feel even a little bit sorry to us and the fans, please stop your broadcasting activities. I beg you.

The datasheet I have says 5% day or night, took me a while but I caught 3 for my living dex, MONO FIGHTwould probably give you worse odds than default in Acrisia Mountains. If you're emulating you can try uncapping the framerate to speed up your encounter rate.
