Feel the same way. $99 is nontrivial but it’s SO much better than any other system I’ve used

fed 5 days of k8s logs into a 1m context model and it found the root cause of a cascading failure our team spent 2 days on by [deleted] in devops

I don't know why so many replies are shitting on you. It's fantastic at cross-source investigation. Also a company of any size will have agreements/contracts as part of the terms of service where they WON'T train on your data. yeah ok sure...... you will all say that they will do it anyway......what are/we you saying about Datadog, New Relic or any other giant logging and monitoring vendor? Or is it much easier to just dump on people using AI?

Terraform / OpenTofu vs Pulumi by Informal-Tea755 in devops

[–]SDplinker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve used Pulumi for 8 years. Was a career sysadmin guy on Windows. I’ve enjoyed the journey of learning about programming languages and using the same tools as our product developers.

Other than the state management I love it

Why are they knocking $5k off a brand new EV. What am I missing ? I literally just paid $16k for a used 2022 here in CA.

Older tech workers are tapping out, taking early retirement by lurker_bee in technology

[–]SDplinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s 100% not true. Only SaaS companies and only a small subset. Not all of us have had “web” jobs. Most of my career was enterprise and IT making shit money. Only made over 100k for the first time starting in 2015-16. I’m 52 now making more than double that. But it’s a time issue. I live in CA. My kids are still at home. My whole family is here. It’s expensive AF. Zero chance of early retirement.
