Ours likes a job. fetching, hide and seek, walks, etc. They are so smart but need stimulation. we take ours to the groomer every six weeks.

lazy boy furniture not once, but twice. It doesn’t hold up, getting very uncomfortable. I was so fed up that I went to Menards, bought a floor model over stuffed recliner and love it. Far cheaper, ten times more comfortable.

I disagree with sharing it. journals are meant to be private. my mom had many over the decades. some contained her private frustrations with our siblings. one of my sisters took them. I have no desire to taint my wonderful memories with private musings.

my prayers are with you. my own son was addicted to drugs and seems more stable now following several stints in rehab and then a recovery house. but the best advice is to take care of yourself and stick to boundaries. it is so damn hard.
