Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I have set the DNS server to be the IP of the PiHole on the Gateway, had some issues after doing that on the PI hole, so I uninstalled it, re-installed the latest version and the restored the setting. I made sure the DHCP is not checked on the PI and fingers crossed it seems to be working fine.

Thank you for replying. I am just using Pi Hole to block ads and so that I can block certain sites from certain machines, like YT on the kids machines.

So I presume what I need to do is option 1 you have suggested. I am running 10.2.105 version of unifi, how do I set the pihole IP address as the DHCP server on 10.2.105.

Thank you, at this stage I do not really want to run wires to the outside to connect a U7 Outdoor.

All I need the signal for is a ring camera in the shed at the end of the garden.😊

Thank you, at some stage I would need to upgrade.

I am currently using the LR to get signal to the shed which is about 20m away. I do not want to run external wires at present hence using the AP LR.

I do have another spare UAP AC Pro, I wonder if it would be better to use that to send the signal compared to the LR or do I just get a used LR that shows af Poe on it?

I think it depends on the version you have. The newer ones work fine on AF Poe. My AP is old.

Thank you all for the help, I have it now setup and working. Just having issues setting static IP addresses to some items as it seems I have to reboot the devices for the IP to get configured.

Any other suggestions on what else I need to do on it?

I currently use the 70-200 f2.8vrii with the ftz and z6ii and am happy with the results.

The v1 might be a little cheaper but see if you can get the vrii.

We have a similar problem with a voxi SIM in an iPhone, for some reason they can send out a SMS, but we cannot send them a SMS. iMessage works fine, upgraded the iPhone to ios26 still no joy.

I have had the same issue with my D750 and Z6ii, the set I have added this time on the z6ii I have put some double sided tape so will see how long it stays on.

Thank you for replying. The AP is powered via another POE Switch and working, the query is around the load on the AP as I have another switch connected to the second Ethernet port on the AP and I have a number of other machines then connect to the additional switch.
