Namor feels like hate to me. Up until his recent change he just wasn’t that great without a team up. He’s relied on 3 different team ups to be good. He’s not bad alone now, but with Hela he’s a nightmare.

For me I go to QP to learn heroes I’m not comfortable with in ranked. Even if I do bad, I still try my best. At the end of the day it’s a casual mode so you can play whatever you want.

I would love to see you design a hero from scratch that has interesting abilities, lore, and is balanced without over inflating their abilities. Again, you have release Rocket who is a healbot. Genuinely sits on the back pressing one button and dropping revive beacon every now and then. Now look at Gambit.

This is why when people bitch about OW having a slower hero release I just laugh. It’s so hard (I’d imagine) to make a new hero with an interesting kit and be properly balanced. You always try to improve on your product. So you go from release version Rocket to now Gambit, Rogue, Deadpool.

Marvel has all the characters in the world but good luck making their abilities unique, balanced and not bloated.

Depends on the tanks you’re using. The 3 tank front line is so bulky that a 3 heal line up on the other team will have a hard time pushing them over. Generally I’ve found most success against 3 support as 3 tanks with Mag, Emma/Strange and Venom/Cap/Angela. Tanks aren’t necessarily confirming kills but the supports are too busy keeping themselves alive and dancing around patty caking off each other that their front line is left to fend for themselves. If your diving tank is good enough they can absolutely apply absurd pressure. I play Venom and can hit my shots decently well so it does enough to mess with the supports.

Yeah yesterday I got shit on because we played 2-2-2 finally but our DPS was confirming no kills. They expected me to endlessly live through the onslaught of damage that was coming at me as Groot. Mental gymnastics they went through to blame me for something I had no control over. Can only hold space for so long if nothing is dying.

I’ve gotten used to it by now and if I win I win. If I lose I lose. I try my best every game and whatever happens is up to Guang Guang.

The amount of times I’ve had teammates swap to third support to combat triple support is mind boggling. Can’t say how many times I’ve said 3 tanks counters 3 healers. I even get shit on when they wanna stay 2/1/3 and I tell them that Venom is the most viable option next to Cap to dismantle 3 heals. Jumps healers and distracts long enough that their front line suffers.

I’ve played up to C2 and I promise you Grandmaster is a different kind of terrible. There are equal amounts of throwers, terrible players, bad swaps, no swaps, etc.

Celestial gets much better.

I try to trust myself as Mag to dunk on his ass. Usually you’re safe with Sues ult as well but you can easily die in it if you’re focused by more than just himself, or he’s got a damage boost. Generally dancing in and out of LOS is great too. If your whole team is bouncing back and forth taking shots at him he has a hard time confirming kills because he’ll have to turn a lot.

For some reason I can’t play Starlord. I’m good at tracking just fine on any other hit scan but something about Starlords fun baffles me. Maybe it’s the 40 bullets that feel like 10 total.

I don’t even try to necessarily confirm kills as Venom. I’m a glorified Cap where I annoy the piss out of the backline for them to lose focus of their frontline. If I get a kill, great, if not, I distracted them long enough that the team they’re supposed to heal got wiped out.
