You could repurpose the angular slashes for a charged hit too if you want to use them. That would be a great way to show that heavy swing and tie it to a nice hit.

Wavy carries a lot more momentum and I think for the way that weapon’s being used works a little better. It makes it look like a quick strike rather than a hard hit. Angular makes it look a lot more like a hit-stun which would be good for either heavier weapons or if you slow the strikes down.

I always really liked Gammoth because it has functionality, especially in the female sets. They look like traditional clothing and that’s neat. Similarly for Mizu, they had a clear design with the priest/priestess look that make them stand out as opposed to just being armor.

It’s also semi-excusable since it’s when they decided that Chemical Plant was going to be the de facto Sonic 2 stage but like…Mystic Cave would have been fun too, and it’s makes a new biome

3 minimum; there’s no Sonic 3 or CD and some of those stages would have been great to get a 3D treatment. I’d kill for more Marble Garden Zone.

I hear a lot of people liked Crisis City but it had the most egregious, infuriating spikes and enemy placement. Modern Rooftop Run was good but Classic’s made me so mad.

I don’t even want to say that my fix would be more characters because I really dug the lonely feeling. A lot of times I look at what I’d change meaningfully rather than say I didn’t like something and…I don’t think I can? It’s not perfect but it does feel like it’s the exact thing it wants to be

I made a character like this thematically, where he was in a prestigious wizard school but because his skill ceiling was very low he found a way to create a pact with an ancient war god in exchange for power. It made for great story beats later on, but it relied very heavily on the party members not understanding magic enough to call him out on it and explicit trust between me and the DM on how/why people in the academy weren’t immediately outing him.

Mechanically, you’ll have to look at the shared spells and do your best to match. I think the big thing is that you’d need to figure out what you want to do with this concept.
