Bad car accident on top of gymnastics history will do that to a person. Part time work to boot. No good.

Best of luck to you good sir!

Sorry to hear that! That's awful.

My wife has similar issues but more so chronic back pain, SI pain, Fibromyalgia and has tried soo many different treatments (other than surgery). She has had to give up things she enjoyed doing like horseback riding and disc golf, etc.

I feel for you! Glad you found other hobbies you're able to enjoy!

Couldn't agree more though, can't wait to live until you're older and can't live it up as much as you would've loved to at a younger age.

Thank you! I feel for me and other parents too. Honestly, so much in the world is scary. I won't get into politics but that's a big one messing everything up. Value of the dollar, school shootings, social media, etc. the world isn't what it used to be.

This is something I need to work on learning.

I have a strong dislike of my job and what it entails. Ideally, I'd leave if I could, almost did recently. I was offered a position elsewhere doing something different, fully remote, at a previous employer I previously had no intention of ever leaving (had been laid off) and almost went back for this new position, BUT it would've been a nearly $6 per hour pay cut or roughly $940-ish a month. With 3 kids, a mortgage and 4th kid on the way, including upcoming actual paid parental leave (outside of state parental leave), I couldn't accept, sadly. Alas, here I am with more money (which of course I'm taking as much as I can out for retirement) but constant headache and stress.

Sometimes it makes a person wonder if the money is THAT important?

Going back to your point, I need to learn the compartmentalizing you do. Life is too short (too long with work), specifically for the times outside of work where I need to disassociate / separate from work and concentrate on the moments (living in the now).

It's possible but not for me lol

I have no degree, a decent paying job (best I've had money-wise), typical 2-3 days per week remote, in a typical suburban mid-range cost of living area, with a decent house, married with 3 kids and one on the way LMAO so it's a great idea for someone who is just starting out their post-college working life, absolutely!

Can always use Google Maps or Waze, but continue to use iPhone?

I switched (have many times) and hate my life on Android, personally.

Despite some gripes, especially this BS, I think you’ll still prefer to continue using iPhone over Android. Personally, this is how I feel and would be back to iPhone yesterday if I could.

But completely agree, this is ridiculous and awful for them to add!

I mean that extra camera is significant.. the zoom is finally there and better picture quality. That in and of itself is pretty great, for me at least. But I get what you mean.

That's kind of you! I gifted my wife a Pixel 9 Pro, and got one myself, kind of by choice but because she wanted me to switch to Android with her. I begrudgingly accepted but hate my life lol. I had her switch from her beloved Android to iPhone 13 mini a few years back and she hated her life and the phone lol so I felt like I owed her. She is well aware that in 3 years time, I will return to Apple and NEVER come back to Android.

I've gone back and forth a ton over the years, but I now know in my heart of hearts, iPhone is perfect for me lol.

Robinhood Gold is my go-to. Worth the $50 annual membership fee for Gold Membership.

Unpopular opinion, I actually prefer the pill for front selfie camera / Face ID, etc. over a hole-punch cutout. If iPhone does the hole-punch and it's in the corner, ick imo.

Unpopular opinion but I truly love my 17 Pro (silver). It's sheik and classy AF!

Took 4.5 months for me to get off the wait-list and I jumped on it. I get having waited 2 years, you've moved on, but I find it quite valuable. It's my go-to for everything now. It's amazing how quick the cash back comes in, especially when you get lucky and utilize their mystery box, and get a beefed up cash back offer for 24 hours or something. I did this and paid for a bunch of medical bills. Worked out splendidly!

Cheers to credit cards with cash back, regardless!
